Anybody that listens to a scanner can tell hat walnut cove fd is doing a much better job now than ever before. peopl keep forgetting thats its a volunteer organization . If you want to come off some big money then hire a full time paid staff and see how much your taxes go up. These people who keep bashing wcfd are trying to make them look bad because of personal reasons. its all bs. wcfd keep up the good work you do and from the bottom of my heart , I thank each and every one of you for what you do every day for our community . Its a thankless job , because most people dont care about the job you do for us, beleive me there are a few of us that appreciate what you do .keep up thee good work .

This is so funny to read. Everyone thinks they know who is who. I don't think anyone knows sh!T about who is who, they can only guess. Its all BS and everyone needs to let it go and work together. Maybe the people that you want it to be writing this on here is not really who it is. No one fire department is better than the other. Everyone should thank God that they are not going through what Union Cross and High Point just did. Come on guys, get it together and work to help each other. Stop calling the names, stop the childish BS. Try sticking your hands out to each other and saying "Thank you". We will never make this town better if we don't stop. All the local fire department's 35,24,40,37,31,19 and 39 are doing a great job. Please guys, try to work it out and make us proud of all of you.

So you obviously don't know me, therefore dont judge me. This is the first time I have ever posted a comment on here and I don't talk shi* about your department it is ran the way yall want it ran. The best thing you can do is get your head out of whatever void you have it in and open your eyes. Did you ever stop to think that maybe people get on here and say things to try and help or things that matter to them. You know just as well as I do that when we (24) are dispatched into stokes county to assist you guys we all work just fine together and vise versa. Don't keep this going guys whoever you are just drop it we get along fine and for those of you who talk about puting up gates and keeping us out thats fine put it up run us out. We don't have to help we are suppose to be setting an example throughout this community. I do my part to help you guys ok. I have no problems at all, but when i look at all these post on here about people asking questions and all you can respond with is it salem chapel's fault or shut up or if it means that much why dont you join, some people dont dedicate their lives to others like we have, some dont have time and expect things be done when we are called upon to assit in an emergency(we being all fire departments)thats what we are here for and if your town cares enough to expect it out of you guys then maybe you shouldn't say the things you all say on here and go out and do 'em. maybe yall hold a grudge against some of our members and thats fine, but don't put peoples life in jeprody for that. there are a lot of good people in this department and we are the same as you guys, volunteer, we all do this out of the kindess of our heart and because we all care just a little to much about others lifes and personal belongings and so on and so forth. Don't take it out on the ones who want to help. I agree 100% no one fire dept.is better than another. You are right people have lost focus as to why fire depts are there to begin with. You are also right about grudge's people hold them and they shouldn't. We stations 35,24,31,23,37,39,40/19,22,18 all need to work together to improve safety in our districts. Voulnteers are hard to come by these days and i know every fire dept.above sure wished they had more active volunteers.Every member of every dept needs to put aside feelings of hate and WORK TOGETHER. |
