The Fire Department Has It Together

I am tired of all this negativity about the Walnut Cove Fire Dept. All of the members get out and put in countless hours to help the citizens of our fire district. You have people that constantly bash every aspect of this dept. And i for one am sick to death of it.Yes A few times the response was extended but this is all volunteer (that means no pay) these men and women receive no compensation for their efforts. If you read some prior blogs no thanks as well. How many people are willing to give up time with family,hobbies, and sleep. Not to mention you go to a restraunt sit down for a meal the pager sounds and you just missed a meal.The only things everyone wants to keep talking about are the bad things. How about in the month of Aug. the avg. time before a truck was enroute was less than 2mins. That rivals all paid emergency services in stokes county. you have people wanting to change things I have a change for you get off your ass and help out and quit downing the volunterrs who take that challenge head on.The world is full of rocket scientist as well idoits.So unless you know 100% what you are saying to be true don't say it because you become one of the idoits

whatever...you are so one sided on that. You say that the volunteers receive no compensation for their efforts. How about the $5.00 per call that they get? You forgot to mention that. I know its not much but it is something, so tell the whole story. Salem Chapel and South Stokes get nothing. If st.35 guy runs 300 calls a year he gets $1,500 right?

That is correct oh common. They are full of so much shit its pathectic. Everyone will realize one day what a hell hole this town and fire dept. really is. What a sad situation.

LOL. You people are so dumb. How do you know if I have not already been in that dept. Maybe i was and I left because of all the immature people that is in that dept. You are right, you only know only if you have been there. So what i speak, its all from experience or maybe it is not. Thats for you to sit and ponder about. See how powerful this blog is instead of having 3 minutes at the town meetings. I don't get a time limit here to speak my mind. This is where you go to get your word out all around the world and it's not a dam thing you can do about it.

I believe you were in that dept. And i don't think you want people to know why you are no longer there !

Can people just ever look at all the good that others do? can't people ever say Thank you? Life is very short too short for talking about others. I already do alot for other people. I'm doing stuff that alot of people are to lazy to do in this world. You better do your research before you try to down me. You don't have a clue to know who I am and if you found out, your jaw would hit the ground. How can you say I am downing the fire dept. when what I am talking about is the truth? You all have been brain washed by the so called TOWN OFFICIALS of this town. Its ok, I will thank all the dumb ass's of this town for keeping a hold on building this town up to be a better place and the slow responding fire dept. Does that make you happy? Thats what you are asking everyone to do, right?

Maybe you didnt leave because of immature people. Just maybe you sat there bitched and moaned all the time like you do on here and they throwed your ass out. I wished it was only that easy on here. As stated by someome earlier if you know of a problem and do nothing to correct it you are part of the problem. so does that mean if we get rid of all the ones you bitch about we can get rid of you along with them.
