Hillsborough's Moral Courage Award regains respect by ditching Ralph Hughes' name

On Wednesday, Hillsborougha s Moral Courage Award became respectable again. The County Commission voted 7-0 to remove Ralph Hughes from the award's name.

Ralph Hughes was a great man. A man of honor, integrity, and the balls to stand up for what he believed in. It continually amazes me at the crap people say about him. Do you all really not appreciate the thousands upon thousands of dollars he spent out of his own PERSONAL pocket to keep property taxes lower for you ungreatful people???? Again, I am shocked and disgusted at the negative attitudes you all seem to have towards this man. He will never be forgotten.....
