City plan: more cash for police

Hire some judges that will actually put the criminals in jail or prison for the crimes they commit, and we won't need to spend any extra money on police. Of course, the police will only find some other fabricated reason to increase their ranks and further increase their bureaucracy. Next to the correctional flunkies, the local California PD's are the most overcompensated public employees on the planet. Can you say Legislated Overtime?

interesting it sounds like YOU have never EVER risked YOUR LIFE OUT THEIR. it's not the JUDGES, it's PEOPLE LIKE YOU, you don't like the LAWS, THEN CHANGE IT. make it so strict, they can never come back to stkn. are you trying. did you go propose anything. have YOU TRIED TO WORK WITH THE POLICE. and if YOU HAD TO CALL THE POLICE. 2hrs later they showup, because they are under staffed. will that please you, stop whining, change the laws, i've tried the elected officials WOULDN'T LISTEN. they were more worried about their benefits and their pay raises. they will sacrifice your pension, before theirs. OOPS, their doing that ALREADY.

you absolutely right. the city council will not admit to the infestation in stockton. they caused. there is a saying, grow a tree, the roots are the city council, the trunk are the people, and the branches are the police and firemen, keep cutting the branches, it can not protect the trunk, not even the roots (city council) will, eventually the whole tree will die. and the city council still want to keep CUTTING, till there is no more branches. then who is going to protect stockton????
