WOW! Hard to believe, Woodland Mill is shutting down, tons of people will be out of work and this so called Leader Call is out running around drunk all the time....Wonder what decisions this Call made at meetings in the past...Surely just to help himself and his boozing friends...Soon there wont be a town for anyone to manage. What a shame!

Back Peddle???? Cover your tracks???? What are you folks talking about? No one has to look for me, I live in East Machias and have for years. I do feel bad for anyone loosing their job as it effects their familys and kids. Dont buy into the garbage some people post on here. Dont be so quick to take the baited hook.. This is the site I use for comments.. I hate drunk drives as have delt with the mess they leave when they hit a car full of family members...

I read the BDN mill on shut down in May site this am....Sounds like a bunch of teen agers on there..Must be better things to do then torment each other all the time, why are people stll commenting on this article about a mo old?? Sounds like no one has lost a job as of yet and hopefully someone will buy the place out...I notice the mill cos shares are not worth much. Who ever thought the mills would last forever when overseas mills are coming on line all the time and the gov lets them flood our markets with cheap goods as they dont pay their workers much.

I am Albert Beals a descendant of the founder of your great city. I live in Saulte Ste. Marie, Canada. My predecessors organized a series of anti-British coups during the time of the American Revolution. My predecessors had to take refuge in Saulte Ste. Marie because it was under the French.

I wish to organize a commemoration of the "Beals" family and want everyone from Beals, Maine to visit Saulte. Ste. Marie and see my progeny.

God Bless America!!
