Milton officials chafe at proposed cut in road aid

Sandy Miller, Milton's town manager, might recommend postponing parts of the town's spring highway maintenance program because of a likely cutback in state aid, he said Thursday.

Even if the state gave Milton the money, the Select Board would probably turn it down since they are obviously against accepting free money. They just turned down a quarter million dollars in federal law enforcement grants.
