AGe does not matter, this could have happened to anyone. I'd like to know why this girl was packing her suitcase and running away rather then calling for help? She tried to help but then runs from the scene? I don't believe her story at all, way to fishy. She's not talking now either so something happened, she knows it and she's hiding it.

An alcohol content of .12 on a college aged male does not make him loaded. Something very fishy went on here. Good luck to the family getting to the root of what happened.

I, too, have some questions. Why did Jones' father send an Ultimate Fighter to chaperone the couple?

Was there any history of violence between Gunderson and Jones?

Why was Jones fleeing the scene?

This is the most ABSURD lawsuit. I have sympathy for the family but this lawsuit has no merit and is an absolute waste of time and money. It won't bring back their son nor will it help clarify what really happened.

This is one of the saddest stories I've ever heard. I can't think of anything worse than losing a child and not having any answers. My guess is the family is not really looking for $$, just answers - sounds like they haven't been able to get any from either the girl or the body guard. And what's up with arranging to fly out of the country before the police even get there - sounds suspicous to me.

That is exactly to point! The other parties aren't talking. The Gunderson family just wants to know what happened to their son. And Ms. Jones and her UFC bodyguard refuse to cooperate.$50K is too small of an amount for them to just be after money.

Why does this family keep involving the media in this? If they thought they had any case at all, why not let the courts take care of it? I don't understand the need for a news conference to announce a lawsuit.

They want the story publicized to help put pressure on the people that know what actually happened to fess up and tell them how and why their son died. It's not a difficult concept to understand.

So being bugged by reporters who only care about ratings/readership is suppose to make them "fess us"? Right.

Not necessarily. Do you know anything about the media and how news operations work?

Lotta stuff is "legal" or not prosecuted in Mexico. And Amsterdam, Rio, and the Ivory Coast, too. Doesn't mean it is safe or good for children who have not reached the age of reason. And No - he shouldn't be in an alley North Mpls at 3:30 am and expect to be all safe and snug as he would be in his mommy's basement out in stillsville.

It wouldn't be so bad if they would at least learn English. On second thought, yes it would. Now at least I can ignore their stupid Latino whining as I don't speak Spanish. I'd hate to have to sit and hear them **** in English.
This isn't about Mexico, you sick and racist scum.

It's about a family looking for answers about their son's death.

So, get with the program, or get out! Out of my country would be even better.

My prayers are with the family. This is awful. The girl clearly is hiding something to just leave and not talk about anything. My bet is the body guard and the girl had something.

Very tragic. I hope justice is served.

Daily Horoscope for December 22

Scorpio

It will be easy to let things get on top of you today, especially if you're already feeling rather tired and listless. Do yourself a favor and keep away from anyone who often makes you feel a bit fed up or defensive, because they're the last person you want to be around at the moment. They'll make your spirits sink down to your ankles in a flash, and who needs that?
