hepatitis C at lucky 13 tattoo shop

Just to let all of the soldiers at APG know that there was an actual case of Hepatitis C in harford county last week that was found to be the fault of Lucky 13 Tattoo shop located in Edgewood Maryland. A friend of mine that is a paramedic for the joppa magnolia fire depatment picked up the 21 year old female, reported that she had symptoms of yellow jaundice, nausea, and vomiting which are some of the first symptoms, and if not treated immediatly can lead to DEATH!!! After her ambulance interview she claimed she had a tattoo placed on her lower back approximatly 6 weeks prior. Its your right to know!! Make sure the tatto needle is brand new and is unwraped in front of you and that every item used on that tatto gun comes from a sterilized container!!!

I wouldn't be surprised, I have several tattoo's and would never let anyone touch me unless everything was new and opened in front of me.

I heard the place is just a hang out and a front for drug operations, i definitly would never let a junkie tattoo me!!!

first off how if this girl got her tattoo six weeks prior to the ambulance report. does anyone have any evidence that she didnt contract hep c in some other way. someone she was having sex with drugs she was using or. any other activity that could have caused her to come in contact with the disease. im not saying rule out the shop. but def dont just push blame with out actual proof. it is very well she may have caucht it threw the tattooing process.

first off im not defending the shop but has anyone factored in any other activities other than her tattoo. possible boyfriends or sexual partners. drugs. fighting. is this girl a good girl that can pinpoint all the things that she has come in contact in the last 6 months or since her last test. just cuz she got sick 6 weeks after the tattoo doesnt mean it was the most recent or the cause. although it is a good possibility. how do we know for sure. did the health dept go there and do any testing with any posotive results. is this the only case that this shop has ever had. etc. there are way to many factors to look over before you blame someone and ruin there buisness for alegations.

not the one who ever lived on a boat or is homeless or ever was. but if i did want to live on a boat it wouldnt de a dingy. but anyway about the girl with hepc everyone knows hepc can lay dormant for a long time and for her to have syptoims of yellow jaundice only 6 weeks after her tattoo, is a bit far fetched. maybe she already had it and the tatttoo just triggered something in her blood while trying to heal the tattoo. maybe someone should do there research. i know nothing of this lucky 13 shop but for someone who knows nothing of the case to just put a bad name out there for these guys is just wrong. oh and ill call that guy in florida and tell him the cat is out of the bag. now the bag is empty so we can put the guy who started this thread in there

Well tattoo jay...so be it....your not the jay that I thought you were. Funny...right before writing this I saw THE jay. I see your point but Jay should have cut it off with pointing out the reasons that it shouldnt be pointed at that shop...not accusing the girl of nastiness. Peace Out !

Jay I was very carefull to note that "if this is THE jay"...I think I made it clear that I may not have the right Jay.

This is so sad! People don't have better things to do then to start some trouble for no reason. How dose anyone know if she even got it from this shop. Everyone blames someone then there own self. She could of got it from anywere. Not saying its a good possibilty that she got it form the tattoo but not becouse the shop is dirty. The skin is open after getting the tattoo and most of the time the clint never listens to the tattoo artist on how to take care of the tattoo or even listen to what could happen if they dont keep it clean or have the open wond laying on a surface that is contaminated . This is how a tattoo shops get its bad name by people that are ignorant. Jay, Your the only smart man who made any sence. Syptoims of yellow jaundice could show up after the skin was broken. This is when the jaundice could of reach into the blood stream. Look iam not saying that the tattoo shop is durty nor clean but you have to look at this in all directions. There are people who are trying to make a living and for someone who has no knowledge of what there talking about should really find out the whole truth befor you fuck up someones life style. In the tattoo world bad news is good news. At least find out if the tattoo shop is responsible for this befor spending bad word.

"most tattoo artists are junkies"???? Who the fuck do you think you are? This is what iam talking about. Ignorant people like you. What world are you in. The tattoo industry is growing everyday of every min. There are people arould the world who tattoo there work on people every day . I don't know what enviroment your in but we keep our tattoo shop clean for our customers and ourselves. You need to keep your durg history to your selve and stop sterotyping. Your an ass!!!

this is the owner of lucky 13 tattoo, this isn`t the first time i found comments online about my shop, most of the comments posted on line like this come from other shops, they are jealous of our shop and our clientel ,the wish they were half as good as us, they are usually shops starting out,or disgruntled tattoo artist that we fired for drug use,tattoos are for life and we believe that the artist has to be at their best to give their best,as for our shop we have been in harford county for close to 3 yrs now ,people that know us,know that we are hard working people just trying to make our way in life, any one that know us know that we take pride in our shop and keep it clean , and all needles and equipment are sterile prepackaged opened just before every tattoo and disposed of immediately after the tattoo is done,we have the largest shop in harford county, we take pride in the military they call us mom and dad on base, the military love to come to our shop just to chill, shoot pool or hang out and watch the artist, our shop is meant to be fun for all

good lord. learn to spell this is making my heard hurt trying to decipher your piss poor spelling. if someone goes into this shop and doesn't feel comfortable getting it done there, then they won't. if they are comfortable however, they will. it won't matter either way what gets posted on some little forum.
