Oh come on! Praise?? Are these people for real?? Hey Arcuri! You lap dog (no, not a blue dog), why don't you tell everyone how you were given PERMISSION to vote no on this bill! This is standard procedure in this sort of instance when more than enough votes are had prior to the actual vote: "the master," in this case Pelosi--grants permission to those representatives that are "in danger" within their districts of being voted out in the next election. Arcuri's master, Pelosi, granted him and other democrat congressmen permission, but should they had ended up needing the votes, Pelosi would have gone down "the list" of seniority and those congressmen/women who had the least seniority would have had to vote "yes" irregardless of what the voters in their district have asked for/demanded.

So you see, giving this lapdog praise is ridiculaus! Arcuri's allegience is to his DC masters and NOT to the voters of his district. it is about POWER and building relationships for his career and ladder climbing--not about serving this district. If he were truly a man who was serving the people of this district he would be standing up--as many other congressmen did--and proclaim to all of COngress that the Cap and Traitor bill is a power grab by Obama and Co--and is all about taking the power, liberty, and freedom away from the people of this country--it is NOT about "jobs" or the environment--heck, Greenpeace is against this bill?? How much more "green" could you get?? Read up on what this bill is all about--I know of quite a bit and YOU WOULD NOT BELIEVE what this bill contains and what it will do to each and every person's way of life and freedom. It is Orwellian.

Time to stand up and take back our freedom and Constitution!!!!

I would just like to add a few comments to the previous post.

This bill, if it passes the Senate, has been predicted to add as much as $3,000 to the average family's tax burden. Much of this will be indirect. The power companies will be taxed considerably higher, so they will obviously pass it on to the consumer.

This will also make every single item we buy more expensive. Just think of one simple staple of life, milk. It takes power to collect hay, run the barn lights, and milk the cows. The price goes up.

It takes power for the dairy to send trucks to collect the milk. The price goes up.

It takes power to pasteurize, homogenize, and send to the store. The price goes up.

It takes power for the market to run lights, the milk coolers, etc. The price goes up.

One more thing. An item in the Cap and Trade Bill will make it law that a government inspector comes into your house before you can sell it. You will be forced to correct any item in the house that the government feels is inefficient. Of course, the government is not about to pay for it though. You will!

Call Gillibrand and Schumer and demand that they vote down this bill in the Senate.

Daily Horoscope for January 7

Cancer

You feel the urge to move onward, powered by your wisdom: when you're right, you're right. You may feel that any further explanation is unnecessary, but the people you're dealing with might need it spelled out for them. Take the time to draw a picture or use smaller vocabulary words to get your point across, Cancer. A public demonstration will probably prove to be the last word on the subject.
