Where in this town can a gay man feel safe and have a beer? I was told there was a place on Louden Street by Pall Mall that I tried but they were not too freindly.

Gay or not, if you look different or speak CLEAR English, they will treat you different. As for southern hospitality I haven't seen any. There is no welcome wagon in this entire area, sorry to tell you that. What this area does have is some very talented musicians, Battletown Inn in Berryville has live music every Thur and Sat. It has good food, fair drink prices and a friendly atmosphere. BTW Welcome and good luck!! Have a good one.. Peace |
