Looking for a great hair salon in Salem. Somewhere that keeps up with all the new haircuts, styles and that is good at highlighting and color.

I go to both. I will have to say, Studio 573 is more comfortable than Shear Edge.

i have always went to Candie at Looking Glass. She will take time for anything (including a perm which was supposed to be 2 hrs and the person had a lot more hair than they said). And her prices are good!! She can do short or long hair!! Rare for Salem area. They can ususlly do only one or the other.

Tatumn is the best around that I have found. Salem is my hometown...I've pretty much tried em all. Recently moved away and I miss that girl!! She is great at cuts and foils, very affordable, and super sweet, which is a huge factor, at least for me.

Emma Parker at 573 Studio kicks ass, at doing hair. Go to her for sure.

It's ok if u can stand the gossip & the junk in the shop,plus her crooked uncle freddie comes in,he's why i quit going ! Plus the mess & gossip.

there is trash always stacked by door and around the shop. And jr. is a liar and crook!

I agree, there was trash stacked by door and stuff all around store, jr. is a lying crook.

if u don't like the gossip what do you think ur doing on here!!! Just because he's her uncle doesn't mean she is bad at doing hair.
