2 charged in Etowah County woman's murder

This is just awful, I know this girl and she was a hard worker and a good person. I haven't seen her in a long time but she or no one else deserves something like this to happen to them. These guys really need punished for this. With all the willing women out there, why would they do something like this is beyond me. I hope they get the death penalty.

This is a complete and utter tragedy, I am Nita's mothers friend and was completely side-swiped by the news that Nita had Passed.No one deserves to die this way. I only knew Nita through e-mail and phone. but can consider her as a friend. I hope the SCUM that took Nita's life pay for taking her from her son, her mother, her family and friends. Complete Tragedy. The 2 Scum Bags that done this make me sick.

This is a tragic thing.These two deserve the electric chair.I am sorry for this families loss.May God give this family the comfort and love they need at this time in their lives.I am truely at a loss for word.

They lured her to their house and slipped her the date rape drug, the drug killed her and they raped her. They then wrapped her in a blanket and put her in the backseat of her car. This is about the worst thing that has happened around here in years. I can't even believe these guys have any kind of bond, they are sick! Does anyone know anything about these guys? I have never heard of them.

yes i have heard of one of the guys actually i have a son by jeremy and he is scum he has not seen my son in almost 8yrs my husband is who he calls dad...i found this news out and i am so very upset for the family of the women my prayers go out to the family he has a history of abuse i left him almost ten yrs ago..he does nothing for his son has many kids he does nothing for...i am lost for words i hope he rotts for what he has done..so please tell the family i am very sorry i just hope my son never finds out about this thank god my husband is his dad....

Jeremy,deserves what ever punishment he gets, He's an impulsive lair, people user, druggie and thief. I believe he has 4 or 5 children who are better off without him eroding their lives.
I am sincerely sorry for this families loss, I can only hope and pray that Justice will prevail.

I knew both of these men. I will not Say that I liked them both, but I will say they deserve a fair trial. Just because one of them had ran out on his paternal duties and I am sure was as big of an ass to the women he dated as he was to everyone else, does not mean that the victim did not willingly participate in sexual activities and/or drug use. I have seen many people overdose themselves on this drug, both men and women alike. We are talking someone's live here. One is already lost, that's enough. If there is such a thing as a fair trial, I wish both the boys exactly that. Yes, dumping the body was a bad thing, they should have called for help. All I am saying is that is not an automatic guilt, it could simply be an intoxicated couple of guys who reacted to a situation with panic.

That said, my heart goes out to the family of this girl. She was very young, and I am sure they miss her terribly. None of us are promised tomorrow. Family mourn her loss, remember her love, but more than that cherish each other and please try not to let hatred become part of her memory. Trust only that if these men intended to hurt her, life will deal cruely with them. We don't have to.

for one these guys well durt bags need to be put away yeah it could have been an accident but if it was why do such a thing to a human being no one deserves that i dont care who they are i hope them guys rot in hell for what they did and if it wasup to me i would make them suffer just as much as that girl did and as her family is doing now her child did not do anything to get his mother taken away from him and neither did her family my prayers go out to them

It amazes me that people can be such hypocrits. Based on the minute information available, several of you have stated they need the electric chair. The fact is none of you were there. This ignorance is what kept people in the dark ages. If you think taking one life for another is right... then I point my finger and call you crazy!!! Ignorant rants don't help.
