Of course the cops didn't do anything wrong, that is why they are offering 600K to settle..

Heberlie’s aunts said they had complained to the FBI about the shooting. Roland Corvington, the special agent in charge here, would only say Thursday that the matter was “still pending.”

CATHERINE L. HANAWAY United States Attorney office has been contacted. If you look at her record she puts away bad cops in jail all the time.

Civil Rights - investigation and prosecution of violations of federal civil rights, including allegations of police misconduct and violations of the federal "hate" crimes statute. This office works with the Department of Justice's Civil Rights Section in these cases.

Oh my gosh! You must be a cop. Nearly all cops talk about how stupid and incompetent prison guards are. "Real" cops usually end up becoming prison guards because of the B.S. in all of the little backwoods departments. There aren't more cops in prison because they do everything they possibly can to cover each others backs, right or wrong. We need some sort of state police operation to take over there small town and county police departments. Maybe then people will stop being harassed and murdered.

No, I am suggesting state police instead of these butt buddie departments. They have it in other parts of the country already. How in the world is that communism? Just because they don't have an elected or(personally) appointed official. They would still be police officers protecting the community, they just wouldn't have any personal stake in the community, therefor they wouldn't do any back scratching. Everything would be fair. NO ONE would get away with DWI's or walk on drug charges, no matter who they or their daddy was.

Are you saying that the Marshals are corrupt? They are law enforcement officers.....I guess the corruption starts in the small town and works its way up. I still think that it would be better.

You either need to start voting or run for office. Things wont change themselves, you need to step up and change them.

The reality of it is that a lot of cops don't want to put up with the bull from the small town departmants, so they work for the state. They usually get paid more at the prisons too.

until you are in the boots of a police officer you dont know what you are going to do during a confrontation. its easy to sit back and give an outsiders point of view after the situation is over with. i dont know the facts of what happened and truthfully there is only a couple that do. if they were wrong they should pay the price or do the time. if they were right then they were right.

It's an important day to enlist the cooperation of your partner and loved ones. If you can sort out any differences then you can work together to achieve your goals. Don't try to put aside the concerns or objections of others, though. Take time to discuss important matters. The home is the heart of your partnerships and if you put in the effort there, you can enjoy the fruits of the labours of all your family.
