I point out the extreme hate and lies of the reich-wing asshats like Coulter who sow nothing but hate and lies simply to line their own pockets with money. Coulter and her kind aren't really concerned with your causes, they use you, they prey upon your limited intellect to see behind the propaganda. You make them rich so they pretend to agree with you and make even more outlandish claims to feed your paranoia. You are nothing but a tool
And as a public service, I have pointed out your hate and lies. What's the difference between you and Coulter? People listen to her and read her column. Not too many listen to you, but you do the same thing that you claim she does.

Then again, I don't read her stuff, you do. So how can I be making her rich, and how would I know her alleged propaganda? And what's my casue that she's not concerned about?

Once again, kid, you are shown to have no idea what you're talking about. How unusual.

You don't like the coherent ideas I present so you s9imply declare them incoherent. Don't blame me for your inadequacies. My ideas are starightforward and clearly presented. You don't like them so you claim I'm a troll, then turn around and complain that I attack the posters... as you attack the poster who shows you to be dishonest. You declare as facts that which are nothing but your own, sick personal opinions. Since you add nothing to any conversation (making wild, idiotis, dishonest and innaccurate claims adds nothing of value), you are the troll you so desperately need me to be.

Make an intelligent statement, or offer a reasonable opinion, it will be treated as such. You accidentally said something intelligent whioch I noted as being quite good. Naturally you ignored that becasue you seem to ned to hate and make stupid, wild claims, than offer value to any conversation. So according to your own words, doesn't that make you the troll you keep whining about?

Riiiiiiight.

Let me fill you in Fuzzy. The Limbaughs and the like are a little extreme in many cases but they're hardly ripping this country apart. Some feel the same when they see this fuzzed up idiot mayor in Oregon as well.

Ya know, If you spent a little more time trying to understand us and a little less time being Fip, cavalier, and insensitive to our problems, You'd be all right. We have a serious problem and this is how it is solved.

I'll never truly understand it, the aspect of feeling as if you're living in the wrong body, but I won't discount it's importance despite all my nonsense.

If it's strong enough to make you and those like you behave in the fashion you do with the need to physically change sex in terms of surgery and adoption of new living techniques then it's your business.

Understand the immediate reaction from me and others will be 'what the hell?'. It sticks out like a red ball on a white sheet. You're going to get called on it.

Doesn't matter whether or not people like me will understand. I can understand the need to develop laws protecting your being and possibly educate others to some degree. I don't percieve you as a threat to children, mankind or the Sunday Farmer's Market so as far as you and yours having an ability to share the sidewalk you should.

But I'll still point and laugh. I'm crass. What can I say? It's hard to look at. If it comes to play they determine my IQ is smaller than the gram weight of a 1984 roll of quarters because of that viewpoint then so be it. LOL!!! Just don't bunch up from me and others in here - it's a blog and means little. If you're solid in your heart then screw anything that blocks your path to happiness.

Notice how you have to make somebody else wrong for your "problem?" Perhaps the suggestions is that how you "solve" it isn't something that normal people are obligated to understand, sanction, or be sensitive to.

So, Making fun of people's problems is OK with you? Tell me, do you also advocate hiring the handicapped because they're fun to watch? In our culture, we tend to see people with any kind of handicaps, not as objects of amusement. To us, this is no joke. That can be verified by the high suicide statistics. But we're different, our handicaps go away with transition. Transition is the cure. So please stop whining about all the "adjustments" you might be called on to make to accomodate us. Actually. the only accomodation we seek is to be left to live as anyone else. Nothing special about that, Is there?

Actually, I never mentioned "making fun." YOU made that part up. The simple, and perhaps sad fact is that you're not like everybody else. Trying to make everybody act like you are is nonsense. No you know better than to play the whining on me. You lie. Either that or you're not as smart as I had thought you were. Your choice.

A high suicide rate suggest an emotional problem that come from inside, not from other people. Shifting the blame to others is, it would seem, a problem your community might want to look at dealing with. Not everybody is required to cater to your "culture." If you want to be treated differently because of your handicap, be prepared to be treated differently because of your handicap... although maybe not the way you demand.

And your handicap does not go away. It is merely masked. Partially hidden. Cosmetically concealed. When you start telling the truth, it might make dealing with your handicap easier.

You should change your screen name to "Truth Twister"! Fact is I don't feel anyone is responsible for MY problems and I don't blame anyone for them. However, If I'm applying (As My male self)for a job and the HR guy thinks "There's something queer about him" and refuse to hire me with out ever considering my credentials and abilities. It's even worse if I appeared as Terry.(Female)

The high suicide rate is caused by the fact of failure to reconcile society's "Norms" with what we know to be our true selves. You have no idea what it's like to be transgendered. How can you say I lie?

We aren't asking you to "cater" to us. We're just asking that you don't disparage us. What does it mean to not "Cater" to us, Assault, Murder, Constant harrassment? What'll it be? And we don't have a "Culture"! We just live our lives as you do. And How dare you call me a liar just because we don't agree?

Except that you were he one to twist the truth claiming I probably liked to make fun of handicapped peopoe. Decide which game you're going to play and stay consistent.

Speaking of which, am I reading correctly that you sometimes apply for work in the real world as a man yet sometimes apply as a female? Is the HR person all that wrong to consider how you present yourself if your job has you interacting with other people? It would seem quite the opposite. He would not be doing his job if he did not take that into consideration if how you present (to customers or otjher workers) were to affect the performance of the company or those other workers. That would indicate, then, that you DO require being catered to because of your emotional difficulties, contrary to your claims.

Shall I play the same BS outrage game? How dare you say I twist the truth when I simply disagree as to what the obvious truth is and you're more into rhetoric games!

I dare call you a liar when I perceive you clearly to be lying. That's how.

The History of the Oregon Duck.

The "Duck" was actually the 2nd choice for the university's mascot.

The first choice, while also a bird, was more of a nod to the region's evolving biological diversity.

Newly arriving settlers to the Oregon Territories were often amazed at the abundance of what we refer to today as "barn swallows," so much so that the area of what is today west-central Oregon was commonly referred to as "swallow country." As more and more settlers moved to the area, so did their livestock, influencing the overall makeup of the region's animal population. One settler of the time described this integration of the native and domesticated as "a rainbow of diversity, with a flag of waving wheat and the song of the swallow and the crow of the rooster its anthem."

University founders were taken by this description of Oregon and thought a representation of this sentiment would be a good emblem for their university. So it was decided that the convergence of the rooster and swallow would from that point on represent the University of Oregon.

They would forever be known as the Oregon Swallowcocks.

Unfortunately, the name wasn't greeted with the enthusiastic acceptance that university founders had hoped. Many inverted the name and called them Cockswallows, or in the native vernacular, "cock swallers." Others became concerned over the origins of the mascot, fearing a literal union of a cock and a swallow had indeed taken place. Still others feared the mascot may be interpreted metaphorically in some way as an abomination to God.

However, the ultimate insult came when it was discovered that the much-celebrated swallows were not swallows at all, but merely common loons, a mistake that in retrospect seems absurdly incomprehensible. Despite the obvious mis-identification, raging debates ensued between university founders and the common, uneducated settlers. Fearing alienation and widespread public backlash, university founders backed off their position and conceded that the grandiose swallow upon which they had pinned their identity was, in fact, merely the common loon.

In the end, a compromise was agreed upon. At the suggestion of town elders it was decided that a virtual synonym of "swallow cock" would be the official mascot of the university, and the loon or "duck" was adopted.

The modern-era mascot bears much resemblance to the founders' original selection and still strongly represents their vision for the university and the state as a whole.

What today is called a duck, is still clearly a rainbow-flag waving, cock-swallowing, beacon of ignorance and ironic arrogance.

Daily Horoscope for December 20

Pisces

If you-know-who has been getting on your nerves recently, matters will soon come to a head and force you to take drastic action. As Mars turns tail in your sixth house, you might finally lose your rag with someone at work who's been testing your patience to the limit. Stand your ground if you feel you're being messed about in some way. Clear the air if needs be, but don't create a really nasty atmosphere by throwing an eye-popping tantrum. Take care of any infections.
