why is gas so high in metter it is always about 10 cent higher. Than our surrouning counties we are all people that are residents in Metter and they should not just think about robbing the traverlers, coming off the interstate. Think of something besides money they goin to get money regardless cause people got to have gasto go . I talk to people all the time bout this an it is rediculous .And we should do something about it . Ilived in metter for bout 15 years and since i can remeber it has been like this. STOP ROBBING US

i too have wondered about this and i've been told everything from metter has more gas "drive offs" to it costs more to deliver gas to metter (none of which i believe). i think it's just basic human greed. i go out of town on a weekly basis and i always fill up when i do. i make it a practice to never buy gas in metter! i'm sorry it has to be that way. i love metter, but i can't afford metter. this applies to many more things than gas prices.

I have heard that some of the store owners that own stores close to I-16 call each other and set the prices...I have even heard that they told a "new store owner" that they will go with their prices of else! That is why most of the Gas near I-16 are the same price!
