Lesbian couple deaths ruled murder-suicide

Full story: www.sovo.com

STATESBORO, GA - Investigators have ruled the May 6 death of a lesbian couple in Statesboro a murder suicide. Statesboro Police Capt. Scott Brunson said evidence at the scene pointed to Kiona Thais Lively, 27, shooting Naumbyia T. German, 26, several times in the bathroom of the house the two women shared on Harden Road in Statesboro. Lively then later set a fire and shot herself in the chest. “All the evidence clearly points to a murder-suicide,” Brunson told Southern Voice. The two women were in a relationship and had reportedly been married in Toronto in 2007. Brunson said there had been no calls for domestic violence to the house before, although the Statesboro Herald newspaper reported several friends and family members were concerned about the relationship.

More likely, a gaylesbian hatin' redneck came and shot them both and then set fire to the place. Then the cops can duck responsibility for an investigation by calling it a murder/suicide. After all, those gay people are all messed up anyway.

Because I knew the couple and you didn't it's easy for you to assume that it could "only" be a redneck. Naumbyia was a very close friend of mine and she's wanted out of the relationship for quite some time now. People like yourself were the same ones running around after 9/11 looking for any muslim to lynch. Get a life Terry.

Give us more info. You know the victim...... My condolences for what you are dealing with. Do you think that Kiona would have killed Naumbyia and then committed suicide? Since you know both parties personally, I would appreciate if you went further on this, but would understand, mutually, if you prefer not to.

For what it's worth, I believe 9/11 was a joint US-Israeli operation. But that has little bearing on this subject at hand. OK I didn't know the couple. Does that preclude me from having and expressing an opinion? Maybe it was wrong. Whenever some thing goes wrong and the cops say it was a situation that they can do nothing about, I get suspicious. Funny how when it's someone they care about, they move heaven and earth to solve it. When it involves someone they don't care about, they declaree it a suicide and go back to eating their donuts. Location- Georgia. Black Victims! Gay friendly/tolerant? Not very! Likelyhood that it's a "Hate Crime"? High! Chances of police spending much time investigating? Unlikely. Case Closed!

How about "Transexuals"? Do I qualify for your wonderful solution to this Non-problem too? So when you accomplish this (Getting us all to commit suicide) you will have it made! How do you figure that? You'll still pay taxes. Traffic jams will be just as bad as always. You'll still have Obama for president. Nothing will change, There aren't enough of us to make any noticable difference in your life. Get real! oh and BTW Some are pretty good people to know!

Of course, nobody saw this coming. I grew up with Naumbyia, took karate with her, and we were very, very close. They were quite happy for awhile, but as far as the details goes in the relationship, I do know that Naumbyia had been unhappy for awhile. Nobody would've ever suspected Kiona to do something like this, but my feelings are that Naumbyia finally decided to end the relationship and Kiona snapped. Kiona could be a very nice person, but she was known to have an attitude problem. I don't know all the details in this, but nobody in her family or some of her closest friends, myself included, never suspected foul play.

For what it’s worth, your personal unproven biased claims against Israel do indeed have very little bearing on this subject. How you decided to bring that up is beyond me. I only brought it up because you’ve clearly come to the conclusion that only a redneck could’ve done something like this. Not anybody else; no Hispanic person, black person, Asian person, nope, only a redneck. You weren’t at the scene of the crime and didn’t know the couple but hey, you’ve got an opinion. Great. Could you give me a case where the cops moved heaven and earth to solve it? Believe it or not, there are many, many gay cops on the police force, but it’s a good thing they didn’t just express their opinion and go searching for a gay hatin’ gun totin’ Christian right wing republican homophobe. You know, contrary to popular belief, rednecks aren’t all homophobic and racist, and not everything is full of conspiracy. Sometimes, a murder suicide happens just like this one. Nobody in the family, none of her friends (myself included) believes it was foul play. But you do, and maybe if you look hard enough, someday you’ll find that homophobic redneck, bring him to justice, and do the world a favor.. BTW, speaking of Georgia, you lived there? No? Been to Savannah? Atlanta? Both places have a very high black population and homosexual/transsexual community. There are bad places, yes, but the state as a whole is more tolerant of homosexuals than you are of rednecks

So, are you saying that you condone your friend Naumbyia for CHEATING...Not saying that what Kiona did was right because that was horrendous act of violence. But, instead of continueously CHEATING on Kiona why didn't she just pack her bags and freaking leave...

So basically it was Naumbyia's fault. I'm not saying it was right ... "BUT". It's so weird how people say, "I love you "BUT" I've been cheating on you". "I feel this way "BUT". Basically when you say "BUT",you're making an excuse. "I'm not saying what Kiona did was right BUT, Naumbyia was cheating." So Kiona was somewhat in the right because she was the victim. She was continuously being cheated on. Tell me, if Kiona was so upset by the cheating, why didn't she leave? Kiona was spoiled and always had to have her way. Although Kiona could be very nice, she did have a mean streak. Why did Naumbyia cheat? Maybe she was unhappy in the relationship. Maybe Kiona wasn't doing her right. Maybe she couldn't just pack her bags and leave. Maybe this is something you should ask all women in relationships who are being abused. Sometimes it's not easy to just get up and walk away. There's fear, uncertainty, and emotional distress. Maybe, just maybe, she was getting ready to leave the relationship and walk away, and Kiona just couldn't take it any more. I don't know all the answers. Nor do I know why Naumbyia didn't just leave. But maybe, just maybe, if she would've left, Kiona would've stalked her down and killed her anyway.

Homosexuals better be very careful about this same-sex marriages. God never intended to be that two women or two men get marry.
God will NEVER honor or sanction same-sex marriage, nor will God acknowledges it. The one god that will approve of such marriages is SATAN and then he will take your soul with it. Homosexuals are provoking God with this same-sex marriage. God won't even LOOK AT, BUT HIS WRATH WILL BE UPON IT!

I am a GSU alumna and graduated with Pooh aka Naumbyia and she didn't deserve a death like that. Kiona was very jealous of her dealings with people in general. I can remember we all were studying and Kiona was just plain out acting a fool. As far as Statesboro being predominantly black, please look again. It's as redneck as you can get and is deep rural southern ga! I was a very scared black woman down there although I did receive my education in that area. I loved the college but was very uneasy if I had to go out in the town after dark. That was just the way it was down there. Oh, don't get me started on the police. It was kinda like the divide in the move Higher Learning.

By Stander,
I read your comment, and for a brief moment, thought it was not worth even dignifying with a response. But upon further thought, I could not let your comment stand unchallenged (Thanks John). I too knew Naumbyia well. She was a dear friend. So I feel as if I can speak as more than just a "By Stander". Though I do not condone cheating, I am also a firm believer that in a relationship a person must set a standard for themselves. Simply put, a man or a woman can only do to you what you ALLOW them to do. Kiona chose to stay, having full knowledge of Naumbyia's activities. Those who really knew Naumbyia knew that she was honest to a fault. She did not lie to Kiona about what she was doing. She told her that she had other outside interest, and yet Kiona CHOSE to stay, and by doing so took away Naumbyia's choice to have a long life.
Perhaps you should just remain a "By stander", because your attempt as a commentator was sorely subpar.

First, my sister was a lesbian yes. why Because she did not like d in her punannie and second she preferred to be licked and third she did not want to have kids which is the only reason anyone should be having sex anyway. So before you judge her then judge yourself. I am married with three kids If I liked that type of sexual pleasure I would be a lesbian too get over it your not and she is so what move on case closed and as far as her heart she love everyone no matter how much with who when where or why so don't hate because they loved her too
