Service Department are crooks. I used a coupon for a $6.95 oil change from the newspaper and ended up paying almost $19.00. The coupon states any make, any model with up to 5 quarts of oil and a 21 point inspection. It did not state that I had to pay for the oil filter.
I was charged a regular oil change price and disounted $6.95 off the the regular price. Plus the change was very quick. I was in and out in 15 minutes. That was too quick of an oil change. I guess it had to be quick for them to miss checking my coolant level and washer fluid level, which I knew were low when I took my Toyota Corolla in. I don't think they even do the 21 point inspection.

Anthony I think you are idiot, what in the hell you were expecting to get for $6.95? It cost them $12milion to open business and you want them to change oil for free on your stupid Corolla? Anthony you are such a d.ck head.

I have had both of my cars serviced at the dealership. The people were very courteous and patient with me. They even fixed a couple of minor things for me at no charge. I was in and out quickly. The dealership is new and big and everyone made me comfortable. I think they are a great addition to our area. Thank you.

My experience with Greer Nissan; I called ahead Saturday afternoon to be sure the parts dept. was open, it was. I needed three oil filters for my Pathfinder. The girl said she would have them ready. They were in a bag on the counter when my wife and I arrived. I needed an idler pulley also, she looked that up and said she had it in stock also, I bought the idler pulley as well. After I got home I looked in the bag, the oil filters and the idler pulley were the wrong parts. I didn't open any of the oil filter boxes, I knew they were wrong based on their physical size and part number. The idler pulley had a piece of common cellophane tape holding the flap closed, I did open it but did not compromise the box. It was after 5:00 pm so I could not return them until today, Monday 12/31/07. Arriving back at the parts counter I was greeted by the same girl that sold me the (wrong) parts originally. I told her the problem and she took them and my invoice to the back room. After a few minutes she emerged and said "two things, I need your credit card and there will be a 10% restocking fee". I told her I wasn't going to pay for restocking fee for parts that were wrong and her fault to begin with.(Does this sound silly already? I thought so.) She argued that I would have to pay the restocking fee and I said no way, lets see the manager. She said I am the manager. This wouldn't have been a surprise to me except she barely looked old enough to have a drivers license. Anyhow, I went for the "lets see the owner" option and I found Mr Sayed Madni. By the time the parts girl reappeared she had Mr Matt Williams, the Service & Parts manager (according to his buisness card) in tow. We went into an office and it quickly became a "I said" "she said" otherwise known as a "pissing contest". These folks literally, subjectively and verbally tried to lay the blame on me for the whole matter. The real kicker was when the parts girl told the three of us that I provided her with my VIN number, therefore it was obviously my fault according her twisted logic. With God as my witness, I did not at any time give her or anyone else at he dealership my VIN number and I told them so. Then she said my wife gave it to her. I asked when and how. She said from an insurance card. Not knowing for sure, I did not challenge her statement but after a phone call to my wife I found that was a LIE also. This is going downhill and fast! Meanwhile, Mr Matt Williams is backing up (taking sides) with his parts girl "she does what I tell her" he said (good information but totally worthless to me I'm thinking) Mr Madni is taking the layed back approach, I'm left wondering how did I get here! We are talking a refund of $93. for parts that were given to me wrong in the first place. In the end and after much pissing, finger pointing and LIES, I got my full refund. Whew!!!
I left there shaking my head in disbelief in what just transpired. These people just lost a customer over less than $10.00!!! I said less than $10.00!!! Now Mr Matt Williams stated to me that he had nine years experience at a dealership, yet he the parts girl and Mr Sayed Madni ignored the fact that one customer at a automobile dealership represents a potential $128,000. over his or her lifetime >if retained<. This is direct and indirect dollars. However, if that customer leaves dissatisfied, like me, they represent three times that amount,$384,000. in potential lost revenue because, not only did they loose one customer they lost at least two more. Word of mouth is a powerfull form of advertising, positive and negative. Greer Nissan would do well learning this fundamental of business.
I will be surprised if Greer Nissan is still in business in a year.
Do yourself a favor and stay away from Greer Nissan.

P.s.- After the melee mentioned above, I was going to buy (1) oil filter simply because I needed it now. However, when I asked the price of the filter the parts girl quoted me $10. and some change plus tax. She had to take one more stab at me I suppose. I declined the purchase.

I went to Crown Nissan immediately after leaving Greer Nissan, the oil filter cost me $6.02. Overall I saved $30.00 including the idler pulley at Crown Nissan and I got the correct parts without the lip service.

Well skyfive, you seemed to be blowing that situation way out of propotion. Greer Nissan is a new dealership, so you should know (being in the automotive business as long as you claim) not everywhere has the same prices, and they just started up so GIVE THEM A BREAK. Everyone always wants something for nothing. If you cant afford it...DONT BUY IT.You should have more self respect than to talk badly or down upon other people. Greer Nissan and their employees have been nothing but helpful... PARTS AND SERVICE!! No matter what I have needed or anything! As far as the parts dept, I have spoken with the Manager and the parts girl. The manager is very helpful and very experienced. Just becuase he is not as old as you, doesn't mean he is not wiser or just as wise as you. Now as for the parts girl, she has been out of high school for 5 years and is very well educated. Yes, she does look very young(LUCKY FOR HER) but that doesn't mean to doubt her. You should be ashamed of yourself talking about a young lady who seemed to make an honest mistake. Now that I look at it... any dealership would be lucky to NOT HAVE YOU AS A CUSTOMER.Life is too short to worry about the small stuff- GET OVER IT. It is ARROGANT and INCONSIDERATE people like you that ruin our society. If you want to complain about something you dont have to post it on the internet, but an adult and keep it to yourself. GREER NISSAN DOES NOT DISCRIMINATE AGAINST ANYONE... WOMEN, MEN, OR CHILDREN!!!

For those that don't know, Syed Madni, the General Manager of Greer Nissan is from Naples, Fla. He was the GM of Lexus of Naples, according to Google, before coming to Greer. Oddly enough, all of the positive comments about Greer Nissan on this page are from people who are from Naples. Fact is stranger than fiction! Don't fall victim to these crooks at Greer Nissan. If you must go there to find out for yourself please keep your guard up.

As we know from time to time , mishaps will occur. However, it is our understanding of these mishaps and how we respond to them that determines the course of action. Your experience was the exception not the rule, why don't you give Greer Nissan another try, I bet it turns out better this time.

My experience with Greer Nissan was just as bad as all of the above!! I wouldn't trust them with a toy car let alone my real car!!! As for Mr. Syed Madni, he is a horrible horrible owner!!! My wife took her sentra in for minor repairs before we left to drive back home. Since were not from here, our inlaws suggested this place. And Mr Madni tried to pick up my wife. He kept stating his family was out of town visiting relatives. Who does this?? What owner would pick up a customer?? She then stated she is clearly married, he then acted cold to her and coincedently her bill was higher then what was estimated in the beginning. I went in there to pick up the car later that day and demanded to speak with him, and of course he wasn't there... Well, Im glad I wont ever need to go back there again. Men, keep your wives away!!!

Considering Mr Madni's lack of customer skills and inability to effectively run a business, this is the best thing that could happen to Greer Nissan. Only time will tell if the new owner changes course in much needed ethical customer service. NEW and improved Greer Nissan? Maybe. I prefer to do business with an established dealership, Crown Nissan which has a proven track record. It cost alot less to retain a customer than to regain one. Once burnt twice shy.

Maybe Mr. SYED Madni had loyal customers from when he worked in Naples, Florida. Did you ever think of that Mr. SkyFive? And the prices quoted were so high because it turned out that his staff was over-charging and stealing the extra money. That is in no way Mr. Madni's fault. Pissedinlakeworth, I seriously doubt he tried to take your daughter home. I have a daughter that STILL buys cars from him. She's 21 and she's never had a problem. Im sure your daughter is just a racist whore and was lying to you.
