3 hurt in truck-train crash

I can not place any blame here that track crossing at Star,Mississippi is bad you can not see around the corner the stop sign is place at intersection you have to physically cross the track and put yourself in danger to see down the tracks there are no crossing gates stop look and listen is diffuclt. I saw it as a matter of time before a incident would happen there. Its sad to say that someone has to die or create a disaster before a change is ever made I hope they make it safer to enter and exit that plant.This comment is from a driver who has placed his life on the line to enter and exit that plant hopefully crossing gates or some type of control device will be implamented. My prayers are with the driver and blessing to his family..Navigator

i am a ex-firefighter that lives in star ms. i went to the seane and yes it was a mess.... the driver of the truck never stoped at the signs . and i have video that will back it up ... i feel for the truck driver family.. and yes there need the be cross bars there . there stop sign there ,but no one ever stops . and i have been one to. hopefully there can be something before someone else lose there life there.... the thing about it to the train was not going fast at all. you can see that in the video , and where the stoped at .... my heart out to all the family of one in this disaster .... and thank you star and florence fire dept for all you do ... star fd#1 florence fd#1
