Trust land won't pay u either. I know guys still waiting on their $ from months ago. Also.. Get some housing!! Guys are coming from all states to work in nd but yet there's no housing & if there is an rv park available, they charge $700 mo. It's absolutely crazy! Word of advice.. Don't leave your family to come here for "stupid" money. It's all a lie.. No company here will shoot you straight. They'll make it sound so sweet when actually the on & off work.. No real "overtime" pay is a joke.

I agree with you on Trustland, however there are other places that are awesome to work for. If you don't have living arrangements made prior to coming here you are out of luck. I've been in ND for almost 4 years and I liv3 in New Town. My daghters go to school here and it's not a perfect town as no town is, but I haven't been treated poorly because of my race. We live in a nice house and have nice neighbors. So it isn't ALL BAD as some ppl make it out to be. We didn't make the best money at first, but my husband has worked hard to get to the position he has now and we aren't rich but we live comfortably. You just have to weed through the bad companys and work hard. It paid off for us anyway

Greed, greed, greed is what it boils down to. Rent is outragous here and lot rent is a joke. They need housing that everyone can afford, not just oil workers. I agree 100% with you on trustland but dont say too much. They love to throw lawsuits at you. TRUST ME!!!!!!! Yea, just vtake my word for it. unfortunately, it is NOT the Williston people who are being greedy and gouching everyone. It is the outside developers who are buying up apartment buildings and building new ones who are jacking the prices of rent from $400 a month to $1500+. Most of theses new owners are from places like Fargo, Twin Cities, Billings, etc... so please don't blame this on Williston locals. Most of the locals are also being put in the same situation as the newcomers.

And sadly it will all come to a end just as fast as it all started,Its just another typical boom town like all the other the went belly up back in the 80s,if you think this is going to last over 4 or 5 more years you are only living in a dream world,once the pipeline is done and the wells are in..then they dont need all the help no more,about%80 percent of these fortune seekers will be out of a job,just remember I told you so!
