If you know an employer that is hiring that pays enough to live on name them. You can't pay rent and utilities for 8 and ten dollars an hour.

Some people are single parent's trying to take care of their children and work. It isn't always an option for a second job. If it weren't for foodstamps alot of families would go hungry, by the time people pay their rent, gas to get to work, electric, water and other expenses there isn't much left for some families. Alot are living paycheck to paycheck, not everyone in Powell County are druggies and lazy just looking to use the system!!! I for the record have never taken any drugs illegally, and never drank anything in my life! You people who like to get on here and bash people for drawing foodstamps should really think about what if it were you and your family who were going hungry!

I don't have a problem with someone working and getting food stamps for their family. If you can't afford them then maybe you shouldn't of had them !! Have you ever thought about that ??

First off I have 1 child, and have worked since the age of 14! I had a great paying job until they had lay offs and could more than afford to take care of my family. Going from a job where your paycheck was almost $2200 for 2 weeks to a job where you get paid roughly $800 for 2 weeks takes a big chunk out of your pocket for bills. When you have rent that is $500 a month plus bills......you figure it out! As for you saying if you can't afford them you shouldn't of had them..... who the hell are you to tell people who and who cannot have children? I personally look at my child as a gift from God and would never think twice of having my child. I am not on welfare or WIC or any other kind of assistance but yes I am not ashamed to say that I have gotten foodstamps. If drawing foodstamps is a way to feed my child then YES I will do whatever is necessary. Maybe you are not a parent so you don't know what I am talking about.

Making that kind of money "wow" you should have saved some or been paying for a home instead of renting and wasting it. I didn't say you couldn't have children dipstick !! Maybe you need to comprehend what I said...
Living on the draw isn't anyway to raise or teach a child to become a productive member of society or is it ??

Yeah I know where my tax dollars are going, to support you and your children... Now get off your tail and send out a resume or two and start teaching your child the American way. Oh you already have, ole Uncle Sam will take care of you all...
Grow a garden, pick up can's there are many way's to supplement your income. Oh it's much easier to pay for two buggies of food with the old red, white and blue card...

My wife, my two kids, and I live on $800 a month by the time they take out taxes and insurance. What do you have to be b*tching about. We pay bills, rent, and buy neccesities and food out of it and save a hundred of it every month. Some people are so damn dumb. Its called if you don't need it and can live without it, don't get it. We both drive nice cars, live in a good house, have full medical and death insurance and have everything we need. Everytime I see pricks like you that have a new phone everytime you turn around, new car, and new clothes and you act like you have nothing. If you need stamps to feed your baby then by heck you need them. Don't get on here bragging bout what you have because they are always someone else that has way less. Be appreciative for what God has given you. Because he can take it away in an instant.

Yes honey people do it all the time that know how to manage their money. You don't have to have a 500 hundred car payment a month to have a nice car..That is peoples problem they think they have to out do everyone to have the best. No not everyone was born and raised that way. If you have a 10 year old car in good condition, drives good and so forth well that is a nice car, don't have to be a 60,000 dollar car. Maybe you could learn something off this person ;)
