This is so sad! I personally know Ida Maribel Torres. I was at the hosptital on Sunday visting her and the children. She had good reason to want to take the child because the father was unfit. Drugs and the other two children had not taken showers in a week. I really wish people knew the other side of the story like I do. I have known both her and the father tha last 12 yrs. I just talked to her on Tuesday after seeing them on Sunday and gave her money.

If what you say is true, why did she not take the father into court, instead of taking the law into her own hands. And, why did he have custody of this baby and not she? |

I suppose she was beside herself when she came into town and noticed what a sad situation that child was in. The father did not take that child to the hospital he was in Vegas partying with new girlfriend. Ida was the one who took the child to the hospital and slept at the hospital day and night for 3 days, before the father arrived. I dont agree 100% with taking the child however I was not in her sitiation. I do know the media had it wrong. They had 50/50 custody of all 3 children. He did not have sole custody.
