146 jobs to be cut at Student Loan Corp.

A Citigroup Inc. plan to cut 146 jobs at its Stamford-based Student Loan Corp. will cause a "small number" of local layoffs, a Citigroup spokesman said yesterday.

Lets see, how about saving money through cutting bonuses of the CEO and CFO's big paycheck, atleast 10 peoples annual salary can be summed up if they take 10% hike in their incentives. Plus, some of the people they are firing are the people who know inside out of the company and its operations and systems. Does all the controllers knows all about the company....again no. Think again...

what does job core do for the students exactly?what will they experience?is this like regular school?will the students be driven home o the weekends?
