For every town you cite for traffic issues, I can point to just as many where they are doing it right. Go take a trip over to Portland, OR to see how bikers can get along just fine with those "million" cars.

If you have a problem that isn't being addressed or isn't going to be, then bring it up to the city. Just as an example, say you think the South End development is too big or doesn't include enough green space. Ranting about it here won't solve anything.
