Did you see the newscast regarding the D.E.E.P. now having the duty and authority to hand out tickets to Drunken Boaters? Basically a D.W.I. These are the people that are supposed to look at your fishing license to see if you fishing with the correct seine, net or trap. Check if your catch is undersize. Since when and where have they had any training to determine safe and sober boating? Is their opinion really valid enough to carry that much authority? What happened to the State Police on the water? The boat in the newscast still had the State Police designation on it. What happened to the local police as well? Will there still be local patrols of local Police who actually know the boats and owners? Foe several years it seems the D.E.P. has been costing us, the taxpayer, a lot more money since they have been given a lot more responsibility apparently outside of the former D.E.P. realm. They have their own Coroner. What, to watch the mobs dead bodies rot in the landfills they refuse to clean up? For the last several years every time there is a drowning death the D.E.E.P. coroner rules. Why? Aren't there Police reports at the State and local levels for that? What happened to the State Police Coroners Office? Does the D.E.E.P. Coroner have to be licensed? Seems the politicians are working at creating their own version of "The Brownshirts". Yes, a little WWII history there. Did anyone see the ready for disaster story on the news a year or so ago where the D.E.E.P. had emergency cots set up in a school? These are not Environmental issues that are being handed to this branch of Government, this is now become the politicians personal Goon Squad.
