If the town of Greenwich knew about this amended building code requiring all new pools to be outfitted with safety vacuum release devices on each drain, a device that shuts down the suction of a pump when it becomes blocked with an object why did they past the pool? If the boys mother knew there was a problem with the drain cover why did she leave the pool uncovered? It seems that the parents are part to blame for there sons death as well as the town of Greenwich they have building codes and they don't enforce them!
