Not put down, but properly contained so they cannot get out to maul or kill someone. And absolutely no insurance company to insure their owners. Because if they do, then all insurance rates go up. Humans are higher on the food chain. please remember that.
If you like big scary looking dogs, German Shepards are a good choice. They are easily trained, very protective of their family and you can control them more easily than other vicious breeds. But remember.....if you get insurance, your rates will be high high high.
