Local News - Christopher Barrios Sr. Talks About Son's Death

You should not blame yourself for what happened to your son, You did not know that was going to happen, its not like you abandon him, you were working at the time how would you know something like that was going to happen to your son. No one can predict what is going to happen or predict the future. When we are destined for our calling we have to go. I cannot imagine what you are going through but my heart is with you and your family and always will be. I have heard of many of deaths around the globe
somewhat like your sons some of the children are younger and some are older. Your son has affected me the most, I can not give a full explanation as to why but christophers death has affected me as well.
I just want you to know Mr Barrios, that I am thinking of you and what you are feeling inside and to let you know that many people including me are feeling it as well. "May god be with you and your family now and forever."

they should lock these 3 douchebags in a room and give the father a baseball bat and let him loose in there. there is no judicial punishment harsh enough for these people. and now one might not spend a day in prison? our legal system sucks...since when did the criminals become the victims?

What have the locals done for the Barrios family? just wondering?? have the locals especially the ones that take all this time to read and comment on topix gone to suppport the family at any of the court hearings? NO!!! has any of the locals gone to the gravesite? NO!!! Since you all have the time to come and say oh!! stop doing this and that to the memory of this child on this thread, why not channel your energy into doing something for the father or grandmother?? SINCE after all you all do live right there!! Lots of people further than all of you have done things, sent money and cards. What if anything have you all done?

It's okay. I am working on an intervention for you. It's time we got you some help. I have heard of many crack heads who become paranoid and dillusional after hours upon hours of use. Then once you get good and strung out and can't find any for a minute than you become irritated and ill, mad at the world so to speak.

You have all the classic symptoms....it's never too late to ask for help- all you have to do is ask. Hold on I'm gonna try to find you some resources.

I found this thread doing research on Christopher's case. I am shocked at all the ignorant comments! There are no words to describe how insane these comments are, especially from the poster the name of "Straight from Savannah" who seems to be a very hateful individual.

The adolescent antics go WAY back, almost to the time the young boy was killed. There is a push to have them removed from the Brunswick forum, however they are enjoying the hype and attention generated way too much. Most locals don't get drawn into the drama. Sad commentary on humanity.

Wow thanks for mentioning me, however my comments have only been rubuttals to the more hateful one's made. I have shown a sincere interest in this case, forgive me if I am one of the VERY few that will stand up to the topix bullies on this thread. Sometimes you just get tired of watching people get slammed for their opinions.
