My grandson also has Chari Malformation. He too stays awake all night and has headaches so severe he gets sick. Your child is the first I have heard of a treatment. Thank you for sharing your story. I will bring this up with the Childrens Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Ks. where we now take him.

My son had decompression surgery for Chiari Malformation 18 years ago at Rainbow Babies and Children's hospital in Cleveland Ohio. I'm now wondering if my other son's insomnia might be related. This is very interesting and I hope there is a follow up story. God Bless little Rhett!
