this is boloney. Hulk said last nite on the insider that he was following his son in another car on the way to a restaurant and passed the crashed car. He was on the scene almost immediately. Maybe he wasn't driving the Viper, but who is the Viper registered to? hmmm.

I'm sorry for what happen but in my oppion just coming from watching the show....if they (Hulk, and Linda) would have been HALF as strick on Nick then they were on Brooke I dont hink they would be in this sittuation. In my oppion I dont think Brooke was the one they should have been worring bout so damn much.

I love the Hogies and I always will. It's just a misfortunate accident. I pray that everything turns out okay and that it is a learning experience for everyone involved.

I think their son is a spoiled brat that thinks he is above everyone else and needed a tighter rein on his ass. I think it is a tragedy for the young Marine that was in the accident to come home from war and be the victim of a spoiled brat.

Nick is not a spoiled brat. If you watch the show they seem to be a pretty normal family for the lifestyle they live. Both kids are well mannered and loving. Nick is just like any other 17 year old boy- he just made a huge mistake and will have to live with it for the rest of his life. I'm sure the passenger knew who he was getting in the car with and knows that Nick races and has a tendency to speed..they're kids.

WE ARE ALL ONE CHOICE A WAY FROM GOING TO PRISON. Think about it. Live it. Nick is seventeen. John is twenty two. Could you imagine what it must be like waking up everyday and going to bed every night knowing you put your friend in a hospital bed maybe for life! That's a lot to live with. I think we all need to stop the Hogan bashing and start praying for everyone that is part of this. If you or I did this it would be in our local paper- it's plastered all over TV and the WEB because of the "HOGAN" name. WE ARE ALL ONE CHOICE A WAY FROM PRISON.

I just want to add that my family was in this situation a couple of years ago. only, my brother was the passanger and had to fight to live. he now has a permanent handicap, how ever by the grace of GOD he is still here. All this because a bad choice his friend made while my brother was in his car. People are people and people are sometimes impulsive, and unfortunaly, this can lead to major tragedy in the lives of every one involved in it. no one really knows what happened except for nick and his friend and God. I think it crazy to pass judgement on a seventeen year old boy, who just happens to be the son of a famous man. This could happen to anyone, no matter what thier back ground, what thier personality, etc... main focus is to think of all the people involved and pray that every one will be able to remain strong and get through this terrible time in thier lives. This is just my take on all this.

I believe that Nick should have lost his licence after his first ticket,or Terry should have taken his car away, not get a faster one.I hope the courts take some hard action, before he or a passenger,or worse yet a buystander gets killed.Ispeak from my younger years as a lead foot.

In my opinion,,, I do believe that Nick has been babied way to long due to his father fame. Nick has made one heck of a big mistake here that has taken a good Marine out of his life, and from the joys of a real loving family for good. If I was Nick, I would visit my dear friend on a daily basis and not leave his side, as Nick, your the driver that caused this horrible accident to happen to your friend. If you want to be a man so bad then face up to the pain that you have caused and go heal your friend. I hope that your conscience bothers you for the rest of your life, that is if you have one you stupid idiot. Speeding belongs on a Professional Race Track and to professional race car drivers which you are not one, and not a rich kid wannabe be race car driver. This is not a game or to be done on our common use streets and roadways. But with your familles great wealth, you may just get off with a slap of the hand, just like the young man that killed both of my parents here in Brandon Florida because he wanted to get in the far left lane of the road from the far right lane. Just think Nick, your family will really thank you a lot should this tarnish your fathers Image, or cancel the Hogan Knows Best TV series. You were really a stupid idiot Nick in what you were doing when you were speeding. You know it and I know it. I hope the police were smart enough to pull the Power train control module and the Body Control Module of your car. That is like a BLACK BOX to an airplane that is in your car to tell POLICE what you were doing when you were driving. I am a career Fire Fighter & Paramedic and I have seen many accidents that involved a high rate of speed and you know deep in your heart that you were speeding and that your father is trying to bail you out with his money he worked so hard to get. I guess your just to stupid to realize that your father is a hero to many people and fans and people look up to your Father and you may hurt your own father's reputation. If your father was my dad I would do all I could to protect his image and my familles TV series. Your very fortunate to have the loving parents you have, but you sure don't deserve them in my opinion by your actions you took. In my career I have found it so difficult to handle knowing & telling a parent how there child is disabled and that he or she will not ever be the same for as long as they live. I am haunted by many of those memories that I have to remember. Your friends parents will always be in deep despair over this. No amount of money or kind words will ever bring your Marine friend back to a real life that he should have had, BUT YOU STOLE THAT LIFE FROM HIM ! Now accept your responsibility as a man that you crave to have instead of your wealthy family buying the best Criminal Attorney in the state as Iknow of Barry Cohen. He is the best around. Ask OJ.

i know that some people lost there loved ones because of speeding, i cant even imagine how johns family feels but take a minute and think how does nick feel his fathers reputations is almost gone because of him and whats the worst he can loose his friend any minute.Just because he is rich doesnt mean that you have to hate him this couldvd happend to any of us drivers realy think about it.So why dont all the people that are giving out too nick just take a break and pray for johns family just too let everyone know i am not a realy big fan and i am not standing up for them just because they are rich....

Nick is only seventeen. John is twenty two. John should of been smarter to wear a seat belt. Nick is only a teenager whom cannot really speak up to another boy and say put your seat belt on because most teenagers don't think of opening up or they don't imagine future consequences. Maybe Nick did tell him to wear his seatbelt and he would not. I know that I have told people to wear their seatbelts and they declined to wear them. But now that I am older... I tell them, you are in my car, you are wearing a seatbelt. It took me to be at an older age to speak up and learn. All I know is Nick is a very good kid. You can tell how he is well mannered and how he reacts when speaking to people. I feel so sorry for both families. This is definitely a tragedy to both families. They all will live with this for the rest of their lives. My prayers are out for both families.
