Isn't that something. An adult tormenting a minor. There are laws on the books for such crimes. I hope she is punished to the fullest extent of the law. Megans Law should be in full effect here. Lori Drew ought to be under a jail next to this woman!

what's with all these people bullying harmless "children" people who have way too much time on their hands. People like them don't need to have access to a computer. I don't care if the teen deserved it or if she had hate for the girl. IT'S NOT EVEN RIGHT! But you know you are going to get caught because there's little bread crumbs left and police/law enforcement will find out and you'll be sitting in court begging and pleading for mercy.

I have several views on this situation. Im not saying she is right and im not saying she is wrong. Because there is more to any story than just one side. Is anyone letting the media know both sides of the situation? Everyone is just downing her. What if she would have went to the police first? Maybe they would be the ones charged and not her. Yes she clearly made a bad decision. Dont you think her and her family are already paying for it enough. She has children to what about them?? She definatly crossed a line. But to all you mothers. Im a mom so i know. Do you let anyone hurt your children? Do you stand up for your children.I would stand up for mine. Maybe she was caught in the moment when she made a bad decision. Well she did the same thing she stood up for her family in the act of the moment.She just didnt do it in the CORRECT way. I think no one can judge her or anyone that is in that situation unless you know the complete full story. And from what i understand the media is leaving out a huge section of it. She could have went about it in different ways. My point is how can you judge or punish someone or call them bad names if you dont know the whole story. I think everyone who has made comments downing her on her on all these websites is not fair. How would you like someone to talk about you and not even know FACTS??

I think this is a great thing that has been done here. Someone should not be allowed to prey on children via the internet or any other source. This woman is an adult and should have handled the situation like an adult if she was having a problem with her ex husband, the ex husbands girlfriend or the child. This is simply not appropriate.

Her last name should be Trash because that obviously is what she is! She ought to be ashamed of herself for targeting a young girl. I guess she was too scared to do anything to the mom or her ex!

Wow -What is this world coming to ? She should go to Jail for the maximum !

They do have all the facts...thats why they have her arrested.children? yeah..maybe girls?? so why would she do this to someone elses girl? you must be a friend of hers and think u know the facts...but if you are..remember 2 sides to the story

What kind of mother would do this? I am thinking she doesnt deserve her own kids. When kids are raised in this kind of atmosphere the live the same lives. I hope she is prosecuted all the way.

To your comment no im not a friend of hers i dont know her personally FYI. I dont think i know all the facts but you people on here definatly dont know all the facts while your talking bad about her. The police and investigators know all the facts. They just arent releasing all of it. no the media has not released it all clearly. Becuase there is two sides to the story. And all they are talking about is her. What about what they did to her first? What about what that womans kid did to hers? If you want to get technical and everyone wants to dog her. Know both sides. As i said before im not saying she is right or wrong. She could have went about it in better ways but she didnt. And i honestly cant say what i would have done if someone was threatening or harming my child/children. Yes she has girls to and what they did to hers was unfair she retaliated in the wrong way. You know, this is a vicious act as well as an illegal act and it should be upheld as such. If there was no way to point out this birdbrain committed this act, as her attorney states, then why was she arrested? DUH! They must know or her butt wouldn't have been in jail. I don't understand a mind that can decide to destroy a young persons reputation, and put her in harms way by causing some potential pervert to communicate with this girl, and could possibly murder her or some other heinous crime against her? ALL caused by this fruitcase female! What did she hope to gain by going against the daughter of her EX-HUSBANDS new girlfriend? Just take a look at her picture - it think it shows what kind of person she is - bitter, hateful, full of venom and resentment, and takes all of that out of a 17 year old, unsuspecting, young person! Absurd and ridiculous!

The irony is, this has NOTHING to do with Megan. That was not the case with her AT ALL. Megan committed suicide because she had inept and irresponsible parents. Lori Drew's comments were neither illegal, harmful, or in any way negligent or criminal.

There is still quite an irony, though, and I'm sure a laughing stock to the rest of the world, that a person like this can be arrested for posting an internet message, yet we allow kooks with rifles stapped on their backs to attend Presidential events. The victim is the daughter of a woman Thrasher's ex-husband was dating. If she has a problem with her ex or the ladies he is dating she should take it up with him, not a minor. i know what ur saying here...but thats why megan mom pushed this law..so others wont get hurt..thanks to her we have this now..and this is over a kid..u seem to forget that part.

It doesn't matter what you want or think, it is going to be in front of a judge or jurry and it depends on what the law says, and she didn't break THIS law. She is rotten and this act dispicable but the law they wrote won't hold up. At least not for this act, and probaly will be struck down. laws are trickey and you don't always get what you want out of them so you have to craft them VERY carfully, and that isn't happening, especially when you are writing reactionary laws for just one incident. Come on every time something happens we run out and scream for a very narrowly crafted law to prevent just that thing we didn't like. this is not how to handle justice.
