But the picking on people's clothes could drastically reduce. It could be one less thing that some kids have over others and what not. Maybe the kids families that can't afford the uniform can get help, like they do with the free/reduce lunch program thing.

For instance, a punk or goth kid shows their style through band t-shirts and black. Do you think that uniforms give a child diversity? Isn't diversity what schools have been striving for? Besides, a large majority, almost a landslide, of students would vote for non-uniformed dress in public schools.

Nina Salem, OR	Reply » \| Report Abuse \| Judge it! \| #7 Wednesday Oct 1 i think school uniforms are a bad idea because what a person wears is what they are if a girl wears baggy jeans and a t-shirt then thats there style nobody gets judged in what they wear they get judged for the things they do....their actions are what people are laughing at not there outfits.....and if you do make fun of a person's outfit then that person must have better taste then you for talking bad about there's.
