in attending to my kids education, i found that many of the most active parents were single parents.
they were educated parnets and knew the value of education.
having one parent would usually mean less income, are you saying the single parent household is the best way to get educated, that is a first from any study I HAVE ever seen, less suprivision, parent working more = a kid succeding. Just was stating 90% of the ALC students were from single parent household, so I am not sure where you get your info from. I personally dont know what or how much a single parent house is doing behind closed doors like you.

So that's just one factor that you know.

Again i gave a real world example that seems to show that single moms are very involved in their kids' education.

i think your statistic does not reflect all the factors involve, as you stated.

the jobs they had required a certain level of education. plus we talked often about our work and the difficulties of raising kids while working. was this a serious questio or just deflection?

It might be one statistic that is common among almost all of the students, It is not picking someone who you met that obviously must have been at a school function so they obviously probably were involved in the childs education. In summary I am not convinced like you that a one parent household is better for a childs education, in fact I have never heard anyone that thinks it is until now.

Nope, but you're also John being dishonest, too.
