seriously people! how & why must this be news??? These two need to deal with what the consequences of their actions but since it hurts no one but them- lets leave it between them. Why must the SPPP make this news? why do they feel the need to post updates on this situation? is there someone who will benefit or something to be gained from reporting updates on this? This makes me wonder what the press has to gain from the coverage of this story, or should i say this situation?

A cop broke the law and violated a restraining order. What do you consider news? Tiger Woods banging a waitress? I 100% want to know every time a cop litters on the sidewalk. That's my employee and they need to lead by EXAMPLE! The world is getting dumber by the minute. Geez.

Make that 2 cops that broke the law. She is using police computers and files to harrass an innocent civilian. This should bother everybody that reads it. Everytime a police officer breaks any law it should make headlines.

Sad part is, cops can arrest you and right whatever they want in reports. Then, DA charges you. When you are a regular civilian, anything they right in their is taken at face value - and you are convicted... Unless you have a mountain of evidence to the contrary!!! Judges, DA's and juries in every type of court believe anything a cop writes or testifies. Now, I hope the same applies to these two as defendants. Think how many people these two have probably sent to prison, the workhouse or got on probation. Is there word so believeable now? Stalking other cops, assaulting each other, love triangles using city/state equipment, hours and money! THESE TWO SHOULD BE FIRED AND SENT TO STILLWATER.

Innocent civilian? Hahaha. I think not. Get your facts straight. She's played a huge part in this. Her ex-husband (a Ramsey Co. Deputy) also looked up people on DVS for HER use and is being investigated. Only a small portion of this has been made public. Just wait until it all comes out. And again, the abusers BROTHER is a reporter for this newspaper. Don't trust anything you read on this webpage/paper!

Hmmm, I wonder if Thick Brenda is so concerned with her "employees" that she also wants to know every time they do something good. I'm sure she does and then takes the time to thank them each time they do something "above and beyond" NOT!! I'm not saying the initial story isn't news but the continuation and follow up stories seek to erode the public confidence in law enforcement. There are thousands of law enforment officers in the state. This is a small, minutes number of officers. The majority of officers are hard working, conscientious people who do the job very well. Please don't paint them all with a wide brush. These two need to be dealt with just like anyone else who breaks the law or asaults another person.
