You guys are a bunch of unconstitutional thugs who have no business stealing from citizens. You're a bunch of cowardly bullies who'd wet your pants if you didn't have your guns, lawyers and ignorant populous to back you up.

Sheriff Bob Fletcher's best friend and best man, Mark Naylon is now serving time in a federal prison for stealing money in an FBI sting. What is wrong with these guys?

Fletcher's gang force was filled with the same problems untill Campion shut it down. Thank God for Campion!

Senators: You panel should recomend completing a full audit in the selection process of the Minnesota Gang Strike Force members.

Lessons learned from the L.A.P.D. rampart investigation were:
1. Complete a full audit of the selection process and monitor the selection of officers or supervisors with Internal Affairs sustained charges and criminal charges.
2. Monitor the selection of candidates with little street or limited supervisory experience.
3. Monitor the selection of officers with zero community contacts.

It is clear that the accountability of this mess rest with the leadership of the law enforcments agencies which particpated in the Gang Strike Force and legislative leaders like you who look the other way and blame the seizure laws.

Senators- STOP wasting the community time and get on with the Department of Justice Investigation.

Ms Moua and Ms Higgins need a wake up call from the community that all is not well. Just the fact that there were so many who did not understand how the forfeiture laws can be twisted to acquire cash and assets ripe for the taking should be the resounding call for new legislation. And keep the law enforcement wishes and opinions out of the mix. How about using the cash and assets auctioned from true drug cases for helping neighborhood groups who work with young people to keep gangs at bay. Lets get proactive with the youth before they can get scared into joining a gang or selling drugs on the street corner. And stop throwing the forfeiture law at every alleged felony crime that could easily have been charged as gross misdemeanor if not for the profit incentive from an expensive vehicle or available assets. The safety commission and legislature obviously were totally in the dark about what happens on the streets and in the courtroom.

Anyone attending or even interested in the "drug war" and its workings and intent, watch the documentary "American Drug War: The Last Great White Hope." Everything you saw with the MGTF is standard procedure. They just got sloppy and got caught (this time.)

Here's a suggestion: how about we look at DISBANDING the 23 "Task Forces" we already have and not invite a FEDERAL version into our state funded by FEDERAL tax dollars? This investigation is not even complete, and nothing even CLOSE to resembling justice has occurred. But yet these crooks are scrambling to create yet MORE of these task forces? Must be a lot of money to be made if they can't afford a gap in their activities. Do NOT outsource our State to the FEDS and do NOT allow these CROOKS that stole from the public to go unpunished. People will be far more satisfied and trusting if JUSTICE is served.

Lopez is back. I saw him the other day at the YMCA working out and he told me he could not comment on whether he is running or not. He just published his thesis on Police Ethics: A Paradox of policies and politics in the new era. He was also a keynote speaker for the Latin American law enforcement leaders annual conference in Puerto Rico this summer. Good luck candidates Bostrom & Lopez.

I disagree with you. I got a crying towel for you. You need to man up and show some balls.

You don't like Fletcher because he made you actually work for a living.

No, I am supporting Sheriff Fletcher all the way.

The Senate will "listen". No they won't, they've already decided to rape your wallet for a couple hundred million dollars and hire some more pigs to steal it from you. Unless you don't work, then they will pay you from the chumps they robbed.

Daily Horoscope for December 27

Capricorn

You'll have a fabulous time if you're longing to see what's on offer in the sales, especially if you want to buy yourself some new clothes or cosmetics. However, you won't pay much attention to how much you're spending, and may even deliberately avoid thinking about it. Do yourself a favor and don't go overboard if you can't afford it.
