That last diatribe brought tears to my eyes. Way to go all Woodward & Bernstein on us. The heart of the story in question is that a principal was put on administrative leave. Nothing more, nothing less. Any sane person would conclude that the whole matter is now in the hands of HR and the lawyers, which makes it a 'private' if not 'confidential' matter that no one's going to know about. That's not a conspiracy to keep important data from the public and it's not censorship; it's just how business like this is handled. If you want to sue the district to get more information, good luck with that. Here's my little conspiracy theory: I don't believe for a second that you don't have something against Ms. Green personally. There's a small group of current or (deservedly) former Maxfield Employees that have it in for Ms. Green and have polluted many comment threads here and elsewhere relating to SPPS (and some that are not) for the last 9 months or more with rumors and allegations. It's the same tripe over and over again, and it's been repeated here... again. If you're on your mission from God (or Saul Alinsky) to turn the SPFT around and take it to the man, don't let me stop you. And again you really should update your blog, for it's hard to find entertainment of that order online without paying for it.

But really, do you think this is a concerted effort just to "get" Ms Green? I don't think so. Wake up and smell the chalk dust.

All Tyler Durden has done here is snipe at people who have posted anything critical of the St Paul Public Schools, and this sums up his game quite succinctly: shut up, bend over, and take it if you work for St Paul Public Schools. In his/her words: "...it's just how business like this is handled." Don't worry "Tyler Durden"...it took a few years for the truth of Katrina to start coming out, for what everyone already knew--that the Army Corps of Engineers screwed up royally, and the result was the loss of New Orleans. When political systems are as corrupt as most in the US are at this point, and the St Paul Public Schools is no exception, the staunchest defenders of the corrupt status quo are those most enmeshed in the corruption. "Tyler Durden" is a staunch defender of the status quo. That is his sole purpose for being here. Trying to put Humpty Dumpty back together again, and to derail the discussion of the cover up of malfeasance, mismanagement, cronyism run amok, and all the other corruption involved in this story. No point in responding to him further, since all he has been doing for days now is try and rile people up with outrageous claims, and then turn around and call them crazy--thereby successfully diverting the topic of attention: the school board and administration's secrecy and attempts to cover up their own wrongdoing. Bye bye "Tyler Durden" sock puppet.

It is obvious that "Tyler Durden" is trying to provoke. "Unbelievable" has taken the bait many times (to the extreme). This post has gone from the firing of a principal in St. Paul to Hurricane Katrina. Maybe you two could exchange phone numbers and have a civilized debate on all the ills of society. You both seem to have all answers. It's time for this post to be taken down. It has run it course. It has gotten to the level of absudity. Tyler and Unbel will have to find something else to do. They both obviously have way too much time on their hands.

Saul Alisky would be churning in his grave at the way SPPS has created a permanent underclass of students.

They both obviously have way too much time on their hands. Guilty as charged. I've only been throwing chunks of red meat at one target, and she's risen to the bait over and over again. We're close to the point where I can ring a bell and she'll post an eight paragraph epistle about how someone at 360 Colborne had a hand in the Kennedy Assasination. I've got my suspicions about who this person is and I've been enjoying yanking her chain. For Marge: There's at least one regular poster here and at other local news sites who has been weaving a consistent tale about Ms. Green and others in the district and how there's some sort of socially & religiously conservative black agenda to impose their 'afrocentric' views on SPPS with the collusion of the School Board and 360. I'll give you some low-hanging fruit: google "Friends of Maxfield" and see what pops up. A lot of it has now gone into the memory hole, but there's still a few things floating around out there. The blog I've mentioned several times has been completely scrubbed, which in all honesty is a good thing. Imagine some of the allegations posted here only an order of magnitude more unhinged. There are plenty of issues surrounding SPPS in general and Maxfield in particular, but to lay it all at the feet of one person is laughable. I'm tiring of this as well, so I'll make this my last posting on this thread. In the end, this thread is just like the old show "Dallas": it's all about J.R.

So, Tyler Durden admits enjoying stalking some SPPS employees online who have the evil intent of...complaining about their boss? Why...the SLANDER...the SCANDAL! After all, b i t c h i n g about the boss is some truly evil-doer stuff. These employees must be HOMEGROWN TERRORISTS! Quick Tyler Durden, save us all from these devils and call Homeland Security!

There are some good staff at this school but after all is said and done if the school is to remain open it needs to be reconstituted.plain and simple Give this school a fresh start. This stuff has been going on long before Belinda Green and those of you who really know Maxfield know that this is the TRUTH!!!

Former Maxfield employee wrote: Oh~and the St Paul Federation of Teachers is in bed with the district administration. There were very competent school employees at Maxfield who were forced out of their jobs for trying to blow the whistle. The union could have blown the whistle on this building, but made a politically expedient decision to sacrifice a few Maxfield members in ALL THREE BARGAINING UNITS, to cover up their own cowardice, incompetence, and further their own political agenda. That is called "failure to represent". So caveat emptor SPFT members. If you don't oust the current business agents and leadership, you will suffer TREMENDOUSLY in the coming budget cutting over the next several years in ways you can't imagine now. And the fact that the union wasn't~and still isn't willing to speak publicly about this travesty makes them guilty collaborators in all this too. There are no innocents here, just a long trail of victims, ending with the St Paul citizens and taxpayers. The Leona Helmsley of Education hit St. Paul schools and we were blindsided by her cruelty. She imposed a "get rid of people or I'll get rid of you" mandate. Volumes of people left or were forced out. Those placed in positions of power have led using fear and intimidation and lies to get rid of people. District backs them totally. The PLAN: A teacher is given low marks on an evaluation, an improvement plan is put in place, and MB swoops down for the kill. The board has turned a blind eye, and the union does nothing to protect us. I am no longer able to endure this toxic environment; I am leaving at the end of the year.

It appears that with the new developments, you may some type of change at your school. I do agree with you that the union is at the very least worthless. And, I think that Ropella could be mentally ill...
