Apparently you know more info then the rest of us in town. Are you a drug user that you bought drugs from this guy? Or did you do drugs with RJ? I've lived here and never heard that mans name or that he was a drug dealer. So you must know all three so well.
And NO ONE has murdered coming to them. What kind of a christan are you?
I apprears in your message that "you" have the sad life and nothing better to do then talk trash.

The police only carry out the will of the community. Take it back and make it a great place I can retire again.

(THATS CALLED MURDER),
but that's what happens to drug dealers all over the place. If this were to happen in Pittsburgh or Philly it'd be no big deal to most people. Just another dealer off the street, but because it's a small town, everyone acts like it's the end of the world.
(ITS BECAUSE MOST OF US KNOW THESE PEOPLE)
Everyone acts as if they knew RJ, Stephen, and Tim all so well. I really think you all just have such sad lives that you have nothing better to do but sit around hoping for the worst for RJ and Stephen.
(YET YOU ARE HERE LEAVING YOUR OWN COMMENTS TOO...GO FIGURE..YOU GOTTA SAD LIFE ??)
Yeah what they did was wrong,
(WHAT PART OF MURDER DID YOU MISS??? LETS NOT FORGET PLANNED ROBBERY AT GUNPOINT!!!!)
but I really think the guy had it coming to him.
(ummm..YOU REALLY THINK??? YOU THINK SOMEONE PROTECTING THEMSELVES AT 3 AM WITH SOME BOGUS STORY ABOUT A DEER BEING HIT 'HAD IT COMING TO HIM'????
You know..enough is enough.. we may all not know the exact intricate details, like exactly to the second they planned the robbery, or the second the trigger was pulled when the gun was aimed at the man that DIED...but what we ALL KNOW IS THIS..a MAN IS DEAD, A MAN WAS ROBBED, AND TWO TEENS ARE IN PRISON FOR IT. They would NOT be held in prison for this length of time unless they had sufficient evidence of the crime. Please, its a difficult situation yes, its horrible that two teens lives are totally messed up because of their habits and greed, yes a man is dead, but lets not act like what the teens have done is not a big deal. It is... and yes it upsets this town because we are a small community. You cannot judge the reaction and response of this town to a large city overpopulated where no one knows anyone. That is NOT the case here. So don't trouble yourself in over rating your ideas of this crime as being trivial. ITS NOT!!!!!!!

RIDGWAY - Two Elk County teens were convicted of murder Thursday in connection with the shooting death of 50-year-old Timothy Patrick Finucan during a robbery attempt at Finucan's home in Millstone Township in August 2008.
Raymond James "RJ" Lambert, 19, HC3, Box 162, Muzette Road, Marienville, was found guilty of first-degree murder and related criminal attempt and conspiracy charges.
Stephen Gail Hall, 18, HC3, Box 179A, Muzette Road, Marienville, was convicted of second-degree murder as an accomplice and related charges of criminal attempt and conspiracy.
The jury deliberated for six hours after closing statements by District Attorney Brad Kraus, Lambert's attorney James Martin, and Hall's attorney George "Jim" Daghir.
A pre-sentence investigation was ordered for both defendants, who remain in jail without bail.
According to testimony Lambert and Hall had driven to the home of Finucan at about 3 a.m. Aug. 19, 2008. The two made a plan for Hall to knock on the door and tell Finucan he had hit a deer with his car and needed help. Lambert took Hall's rifle and hid behind the corner of the house and was to go in the house and steal drugs (Finucan had pain patches for a back pain), guns or money.
Instead, when Finucan came out to help Hall and the two walked toward Finucan's truck to get a flashlight, Lambert saw that Finucan was holding a gun and shot him twice. After the first shot Hall ran away. Hall said he didn't think Lambert was going to shoot Finucan.
According to previous testimony by Hall, Lambert later showed him a gun he said came from Finucan's house.
During closing statements, Martin said the defense was not disputing Finucan was dead and had been shot by Lambert.
The question the jury had to answer was the extent of the circumstances that led to the actions of the two teens, Martin said.
Martin said the two didn't conspire to commit homicide, the gun had been in the car a week and they had been out shooting deer. Hall testified that if he had known Lambert would shoot, Finucan he wouldn't have let him use the gun.
Daghir said, "My client didn't pull the trigger. Just because an accomplice is present, doesn't make him guilty."
Kraus asked the jury to imagine they saw the crime take place. The gun had been in Lambert's car for a week, he said. How long did they plan this?
When the two walked up to the house, Hall didn't run or hide, Kraus said, but made sure the plan was correct. He said Hall may have been 17, but he didn't have a problem walking up to the house to steal drugs and money.
Lambert had the intent to kill and shot Finucan, Kraus said, and Hall was his accomplice.

As an acquaintance of the two young men involved in the shooting of Mr. Fincucan, i will just say that i personally believe that the whole situation is a sad story. I witnessed the two aforementioned Teenagers use Heroin at an undisclosed individuals' residence. Drugs were obviously involved. Strange though... you never know when a killer is in your midst. It's a little scary to know that i stared evil in the face and had no idea of what he was harboring, i mean, I never suspected the individual of having committed a murder just shy of a month previous to my first encounter with the two young men. How do you continue living a normal life knowing that you have killed a person for the sake of greed and selfishness? Lack of morals and remorse is how. I didnt see any remorse or emotional distress displayed by the subject so i never suspected anything. Drugs make people do strange and wicked things. and in the end what was the outcome? three lives ruined and many more affected as a direct result of what happened. truly sad.

Suspect in the previous DRUG MURDER 14 years ago!!!
His 3 bastard sons. Who will ALL someday be just like him. The system failed 14 years ago to nail this FREAK of nature.
And most of all the system continues to fail Marienville. Cops turn a blind eye to the main dealer of our little town. Year after year after year.
What is it going to take to protect the people of our community? How many times do people have to call the police? Best guess HUNDREDS ! The years this FREAK who thinks he is so cool is a SPINLESS BULLY !
WAKE UP MARIENVILLE... Why does a man in his 40's have to hang with young kids??? WAKE UP AND STAND UP. Take your community back !
How many more lives must be distroyed? Only to have him stand back year after year. Enjoying his freedom... While he twists the minds of his own flesh and blood to someday take is place.
WE ALL NEED TO STAND UP FOR WHAT IS RIGHT! MANY OF YOU SUPPORT A DEALERS FAMILY BECAUSE YOUR TO AFRAID TO STAND UP FOR WHAT IS RIGHT. So your giving him just what he wants. He is controling you with fear.

this is real many small towns are known for hiding their drugdealers instead of dealing with them and punishing them. Ridgway is known for that as well, look at jaime crisitini and John D.Hagemann, they are the drug dealers who control the town and they are always in the papers for their misdemeanors. John was a drugdealer in NYC and then moved his business here in Ridgway, and look they are roaming the streets free and they have children. Is this society in their right mind. They support many higher officials with drugs but there is a hush because of monetary values. Mikey investigates these people and it is real thats all and i guess ridgway is waiting to poison the rest of their teenagers from these drug dealers and then wake up. Dnt be blind or ignorant people wake up and do something about it before its too late.

I read every comment. My heart broke when I read what you fools defending RJ and Stephen had to say. Marienville is a cesspool of ignorance and stupidity. People knew they did it, and they didn't tell the cops. Just like no one's doing anything about the drug dealers. Hell, I've watched drug deals being made in gym class. People who think that Marienville is a fine place need to wake up and smell the distinct smell of pot being smoked. If you are a person raising a teenager in Marienville, your kid is most likely doing drugs. They're drinking with the other kids. 20 kids per class, and by senior year at least 17 of them dabble in drugs and alcohol. Sure, keep shoving your heads in the sand and tell yourselves it's normal, I don't care. I'm going to be just fine, my life is on the right track. But they're screwed. This isn't good behavior. Tim was my neighbor, and he wasn't a drug dealer. Keep giving your kids the ability to ruin their lives and I can guarantee they'll be ruining the lives of innocent people and their families, just like what happened to Tim and his family.
