I was so happy to see the donut shop open.
I saw one in Kingsland on 17 the other day also.
I haven't been in it yet though.
We seriously need a Sam's or Costco. I'm tired of having to drag a cooler to go to Jax.
I think it would be good for Camden to build here.
Just think of the jobs it would bring.

They don't want jobs to come to Camden. The JDA Director just brought in a company that will generate 5 jobs. But hey if you are handicap the bottling company will hire 50. Has anyone figured out what the new three story building is in downtown St. Marys.

I'd love to see a Big Lots & Ross!:-) I thought I read awhile back that an Olive Garden was coming to town. Guess not?
Don't know why a big store doesn't move into one of the many lots along 40 instead of these little strip malls that are half empty.

Gee, I wonder, too. Maybe its because the people who own the big stores see all those little stores that can't make it, YOU EFFING MORON!

You seriously need to seek anger management you poor thing. I hope that made you feel really good about yourself. Poor baby didn't get enough mommy attention so you have to try to belittle people to feel good. Sorry for you.

Hey Wide-eyed wonder! Clue here: hit reply if you wanna be real quick about dissin' your betters. That way you don't have to explain who you were replying to (as if we didn't know). You just removed all doubts as to your lack of intelligence. Now go ponder hard on why a big retailer won't open when there is no business to soak up.

And you are just so smart you spend your time on a blog getting all upset and try to belittle others. Yeah, that takes real intelligence. Since I don't spend my life on here I forgot about replying. But I'm glad it helped to make you feel like a big smart man.

"DISSIN" & "BETTERS hahaha talk about showing your intelligence. Thanks for the laugh.

This is the last time I'll acknowledge you,you poor thing. I feel sorry for you and anyone who has to live with you. Truely! Like I said seek anger managment.

So REPLY with some more of how smart you are because I wont be back to see it.

Shame one can't make a simple comment on a blog about nothing serious and someone pathetic has to act the jerk.

Looks like Brain touched a nerve in you. And Brain's point is a good one. Camden is overrun with little Mom & Pop operations that crop up and die overnight. Why would a big box store want to come here?

I don't think there is enough traffic to support a Sams in St Marys. Walmart knows where their customers come from thru surveys and credit card sales.

Why yes we know what that 3 story building is. It is the Board of Education Taj Mahal monument for Esteemed Learning. Used to be called St Marys Elementary school until we elected a bunch of finacially incestual school board members. Guess what you are paying to build the soon to be half filled monument and its old adjacent school every time you shop here through ESPLOST.
Isn't life great that in tough economic times and over inflated real estate prices our lovely politicians went on a shopping spree with your taxes!
