Man Appears in Court for Murder of Parents

Looks like a death sentence case to me.

it is ashame that this happen it makes a person wonder why a child would kill his parents

mom in jax, I know many who know him and it was definitely drug related...he's been in and out of rehab and the word is they were trying to get him to go back. Incredibly sad story. I have two coupes who're friends of mine that he (TJ) sang a their weddings. Just tragic all the way around....

The one thing people need to remember is his sister has already lost her parents. I hope they consider her wishes about her brother's punishment.

Mr. Watkins, I am going to believe and hope that you have some mental issues and don't tell me you kill your parents for some stupid insurance policy, how could any one be some cruel and heartless to take the lives of their own parents. These were/should have been two of the most important people in your life, I know that they cared for you and loved you very dearly, you/we only have one father and mother, I really do want to understand. I am really sorry if you was unaware of what you were doing/have done. My sympathy goes out to the grieving families and may God bless and keep you all safe.

I just can't imagine how someone who is capable of killing both their mother and father could possibly be reformed. If this guy is insane who would trust this guy even twenty years from now?
I would give this guy life with no parole or offer him a pill to go to sleep permanently. And hope he took the pill.

This case should have an immediate death sentence.

I am TJ's first cousin and I always called him Jeff. I could really make him mad when I picked on him and called him Jeffery. He hated that. We had a special bond with each other because we were the same age and both adopted into this family. We always talked about raising our kids together, but his work took him one way and mine another. After getting over the shock Monday I was very angry at Tye, but then I realized Jeff and Cindy would not want that. They would ask that we would forgive Tye and pray that God would have mercy on him. I pray for peace and understanding for this family. I know that Jeff and Cindy have touched the face of God. I love you Jen and pray God will comfort you. I love you Jeff and Cindy.

I met TJ and his wife Cindy in Amelia Island, Florida. TJ and Cindy were a true blue christian couple. They encouraged my parents to go to their church when they first moved to Florida. My family and I are truly saddened for what happened. We pray for the entire family, you will be remembered.

I Worked with Cindy at the Comcast cable office in St Marys GA. She was really sweet, smart and very funny. I can still picture her in the beautiful blue convertible VW Beetle she had. I met her husband TJ, daughter Jennifer, and son Tye. They all seems like a perfect family. My heart goes out to the entire family.

violent video games,violent movies,and bad encouraging music and drugs make this kind of things happen.
if they going to give him the needle please do so quickly and don't let my hard earned tax money pay for 20 years supporting this murderer,just get rid of him in no time like they did with saddam hussein,a few weeks and to the chamber!

Why are you trying to cause controversy here, racist dirtbag? Take your racist propoganda, comments and assumptions somewhere else. It does not belong here. Show some respect & morals! BTW, society is "sick and tired" of people like you & your general outlook on life.

Back to the actual reason for this thread...my thoughts and prayers to this family. It is a tragic situation.
