Boycott Casey gas

Since the Casey monopoly in Ozark and Sparta they apparently think it's okay to charge us 10 cents more than Springfield and Nixa.If you have the chance ask the Casey employees why that is so.They made an extra 10 cents on every gallon of gas they sold in Sparta and Ozark last 7 days.Do the math and figure out how much extra money they made on us last week.

What is the deal? Sounds very unfair to me, maybe they think we are going to keep buying it anyway. We should all go to Prestons and buy our gas, it is much better quality gas anyway!

Some of my family's vehicles don't run right on casey gas so they get Preston's premium or Plaza gas.I see a lot of Sparta people there.I've lived here most of my life and Sparta gas prices allways adjusted to Springfield prices within a day or 2.It irritates me that Caseys has apparently made a business decision that they can get away with not doing that anymore.I'd like the people of Sparta to change their mind for them and let them know we don't need any more hardship.

Iwonder if it would do any good to contact the Casey corporation to ask them to go back to the old policy.

Caseys seem to own most of the stations around. Guess their policy is " anything they want to do"? They have to pay all of those employees some way, I can remember when 2 people worked each shift and the cooks only were in certain times of day. Now the place is buzzing with all kinds of help. That really makes it easier for them tho. Standing on your feet that many hours a day is rough.

Day 9:Casey's has kept the gas prices in Ozark and Sparta 11 cents higher than Springfield and Nixa. This has never happened before.Watch as you cross into Greene County, the first gas station you see,gas is $3.02.But as you come from Nixa on 14,the minute you come into Ozark gas is $3.13.Ask your Casey employees why that is so.

Go to the northside of Springfield. It's been 3.29 in the area I work for a couple of days now.

Gas prices are fluctuating everywhere. I've seen every price from 2.999 to 3.339. If you don't like Casey's, that's acceptable, but don't place blame just on them. They've done a lot of good for a lot of small communitites, too.

This experience has convinced me that the Casey corporation is not a good member of the Ozark-Sparta communities with their current policy on gas pricing. So I will continue to buy other things there but not gas no way!

hillbilly, thats why you aren't a CEO. You don't know how pricing works. Casey's has nothing to do with the price of fuel.

Spend your money where you want, but don't spread false information. There's enough of that going on in todays society already.

Don't go all high and mighty on me,Ms Casey,I have relatives that work at gas stations in Ozark and Sparta and I know when Murphy's and Casey's raise their gas prices the rest of Ozark and Sparta follows. But until recently lower gas prices in South Springfield trickled down to all of us , but now they just reach Nixa until Topix people threw a fit and Sparta Casey's dropped their price to$3.19 before anybody in Ozark did,and I for one appreciate that move, thank you, Penny, the people need a break.

Christian county headliner's lead article today is about the gas prices being 10 cents higher in Ozark consistently ,higher than nixa or Springfield.

Went to Springfield yesterday and gas there is $3.04.Why have we been paying $3.12?And why did Murphy's and phillips in Ozark raise theirs to $3.18?We are getting ripped off by as much as 14 cents a gallon.Time for the newspaper to run another article, that stopped it last time.
