Can you believe how much money the mayor and council is wasting? It took two people to replace the old HR director. We just hired a kid right out of college to be the city engineer who is not a engineer. We're getting a park ranger and a deputy police chief. We are paying to build new roads in a new sub-division. We've spent big $$ to buy houses we didn't need to build both roundabouts. They want to spend tons of money to build another exit off of 70. Will it ever stop?

The TIF is useless. Hope they did not promise anything spectacular to those that are in it.

Politicians, like diapers, need to be changed regularly and for the same reason.

You're correct, the square was done under the "watchful" eye of this administration

So where's a good hangout that I can pick up local news since I just learned the highland paper is better known as news loser, there must be another avenue for news. Someone suggested Buzzies? or the Hardees breakfast club, I hear a lot of relevant and accurate news in the hot tub at korte rec.

I did drop in with a friend at Ethels but I never met anyone within 50 years of my age. Nice pub though, Yogi's was too lively, a cop came in off duty to tear up the place when I was there. I guess this is really an all or nothing kind of town.

So who is running for Mayor and Town Council openings? Where are petitions being circulated? I could support almost anyone running against the current joker.

Why don't you pick up a petition and run for office yourself.
