wow my kids used to run around w/ this idiot. i used to tellthem he was trouble. lucky they listen to me. also my oldest daughter lived up the street from him on lemon street .

It was Jamal Jabber. He was from Highland, IL. He graduated in 2006. He is a TOTAL creep!

About a week before this guy got arrested, me and my friend were walking along lindenthal (around noon) and he started to follow us in his car. He had no shirt on and we couldn't even tell if he was wearing pants. He stopped us like, 3 times. He actually pulled in a parking lot and tried to get in front of us. He said, "Hey beautifuls. how you doing" and we just laughed it off and gave him weird looks. We then walked up to the square because we were getting scared. He circled the square a few times and then we saw a sheriff car and figured we'd be ok if anything happened. We were going to walk home, but then we saw his car next to the bank. Luckily the girl my friend babysits for showed up and took us home. a week later my mom told me she didn't want us walking around with out a parent of my boyfriend because she read in the paper about some sex offender. she showed me his picture and it was the guy who had followed us. I had no idea he was so dangerous. We're alot safer now whenever we walk anywhere, sometimes I get nervous whenever I see a white car because I know he's out of jail. I hope the hold him. it's reallllly scary to think about what could have happened ...

In the future, go to the police car and tell them what the man is doing. Don't assume that because he's in the area he can help you. Contrary to popular beleif, the police are not mind readers. They can't stop a crime before it happens if they don't know there is a potential for a crime to be committed.
When you go walking, carry a whistle.(You can get a really loud one from many sporting goods stores.) People turn to see who's blowing it, and because it's loud it can be heard inside of houses. It is a cheap and effective safety aid that can save your life.
If you think this man is the only threat in Highland, you are sadly mistaken.

Yeah he's out of jail. He apparently either posted bail or they had no evidence. I'm not sure.

No he's not out and never was. check your DOC website for specifics. and kudos to curious about the tell the cop comment and that he's not the only perv in town. he's just the one that got caught because he was obvious you have to use common sense. just becuase it's highland doesn't mean bad things don't happen

I think any psycho like this needs to have his you know whats cut off along with all the other sexual predators out there.

HE IS OUT!! I seen him today, and he is the same creepy guy. I seen him face to face so I know that it is him.
