Ronald wrote: <quoted text> been there9. Yes. You are right. When the revolutionary ruling class makes reference to "the people", the more naive among us just naturally assume they mean the great majority. Nothing could be further from the truth. When the "career" activist revolutionary political ruling class make reference to "the people", they mean tiny - but very noisy - radical activist organizations that are used by them to hide behind in order to shift responsibility and blame when they carry out their odious job-destroying "anti-people" revolutionary programs. The ruling revolutionary political class then rub salt into the wounds of the minority of Americans who pay taxes by making such revolutionary activist organizations tax exempt, thus effectively transferring their cost to the minority of Americans who pay taxes. Ronald I'm really not quite sure what you mean by ruling revolutionary political class. None of the people in our community that volunteered to collect the necessary signatures for this ballot are tiny. I only suggest to you to get more informed about Monsanto and very big organizations that would like you to be complacent about what they are doing on a global level. Yes it feels overwhelmingly impossible to effect a change sometimes. But this is a battle I have fought for over 5 yrs now. I have been called many names, heard every argument for not caring, and yet my grandchildren are now talking about it. And in an informed and passionate way. I see lots of younger people willing to take on the fight and it does make me feel hopeful. If the evil empire wins it wins. But I still will not go down without a fight and having tried to influence for the better and to let others know it all still comes down to choice. Win or lose it is still about choices.

Exactly. When the revolutionary generation came upon the scene, what in pre-revolutionary times were known as "the people" had become the best fed, the healthiest, and the best housed people in the entire history of the world. Nothing angered the revolutionaries more than knowing this was accomplished without the need of they acting as revolutionary intermediaries. I often recall the contemptuous revolutionary songs about what they termed as "ticky-tacky homes that ordinary worker *("middle")* class people lived in. You are right that children have had the flame of independent thought extinguished. The revolutionaries have turned them into mindless manipulated cogs whose purpose is to carry out revolutionary aims. While objective # 1 is to manipulate them into strengthening revolutionary Government $$$ Big School $$$ they are also used as pawns to further more mundane revolutionary goals such as criminalizing store-keeps who offer the simple convenience of providing free grocery bags for customers to carry their overpriced groceries home to their now overtaxed and overpriced humble abode. Michaela Mihailova wrote: The banning of single use paper bags from being given out for free is a definitely a step in the right direction. Plastic bags are given out too freely now, with cashiers putting every thing in a bag, even single items like an apple or a banana. Given that it is assumed that most people use over 130 bags each year, it is essential that everyone starts making changes to be more environmentally conscious. The majority of the plastic bags used are not even recycled and instead sent to landfills, or worse, they wind up on beaches, roads, and sidewalks. Not to mention the thousands of plastic bags flouting in the ocean and consequentially effecting marine life. This new law is going is the first step in making California and plastic-bag-free state. When is California going to be an Illegal Immigrant sanctuary free state?? Illegal immigrants are a much bigger problem.

Why do the mexicans kill each other in the United States and in mexico? They butcher their own people by chopping them up in the worst ever ways. And then they think by telling the Pope, they will not kill anyone while he is visiting, will somehow buy them a way into the pearly gates of heaven. These people that do these gawd awful things for the world to see, will find their eternal life burning in hell. I see the United States going into mexico like they did Afghanistan and changing their failed government by killing everyone who isn't normal. I see the United States taking control of mexico's oil. 50,000 dead mexicans in just five or six years is a threat to the United States.

Go to point Richmond and see In Mexico the vast majority of all crime is related to drug trafficking......... And in the USA the majority of Mexicans you see are criminal invaders that are also wanted in Mexico I live here in the Vallarta area with 500k people and over a third are American or Canadian and we just had our first murder this year and the guy was selling drugs Show me any city with 500k people in the USA with only one murder this year and no murders last year
