Florence Woman Murdered; Suspected Shooter Turns Gun on Himself

Well , This is a very twisted story The brother to James Robertson shoot and killed his wife and nephew back in Jan . Jackie Robertson and April were going through a seperation/ divorce may have already even been filed . And if Im not mistaken Where James shot his self Is the same area in which his brother Jackie Shot His self , wife and nephew. My hurt just goes out to the kids . I also hope that someone is making sure the Robertson Children are safe and are around people that are mentally safe .

I agree , they really need to investigate more . I actually know the family and deceased April very well. Something just is not right !!! They had 2 kids together I hope the boys are safe !!

So just because his family was put through hell gives him a pass to beat and kill someone. She was someone's mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. He was a coward and took the easy way out. It sickens me to see people stick up for a murderer.

At least they wont have to house and feed him until he goes to trial.

I agree very much with Kmbrly Killen. It is very easy for people to just sit around and JUDGE other peoples lives. Chris did have a lot to deal with and when he was not mixed up with drug was a great person. Ms. Russell did not deserve to die. BUt I think it is wrong that the news media has labeled him a murderer before all fact are in. He was having a hard time dealing with his brothers death.

Bella and county resident I am so glad that your families and lives are so perfect. No she should not have had to die. But you try dealing with what he was. Him and his brother were very close. i Hate when people sit there and automatically accuse someone of being a murders. Yes what he did was wrong, but yall have no clue, he was an awesome person, and deeply loved and missed by many. it's soo sad that this happend to Regina and Chris, and Chris and his family loosing jackie, april and jamie in january.. people need to stop juding no one exactly knows how this all started or what fueled it. i know Both Regina and Chris leave behind family, it's a sad situation that should of never happend.i feel so bad for all the kids involved in this situation. Uh, HELLO! Mr. Robertson is..WAS..a murderer(allegedly).

The whole problem with lauderdale county is tey half do their job. The news channel tells half the side why dont u go talk to the roberson family. The have not proved he killed her get a real job but not lauderdale county specially theinvestigators only one i know is decent is mccluskey he is a good christian man do ur job 4 a changeeeee?
