I think that is a good idea!! Tomorrow we will bury Kristin. This was a horrible accident. She was adjusting herself and the driver hit a dip in the road and she flew off. It was her time to go home to GOD and there is no law that could have prevented this from happening. Please let her rest in peace!!!! It hurts and makes me mad to read the negitive comments that I have on this website. She was a beautiful, wonderful, caring person. Lets remember her that way!! She is very missed!!!!:0(

It isn't ALL motorcycle drivers that are agressive. ONLY about 60% of them. What is the deal with those damn "Look Twice Motorcyles Are Everywhere" stickers?!?! Motorcycles and their drivers are TWICE as much important as anybody else?!?! LMAO!!!! If they would simply drive like everyone else rather than feel exceptional compared to everyone else, there would be no problem. But they feel they are stronger and feel much different after crashing. I cannot WAIT for the day that some dumba*s on a motorcycle is driving one handed, hits a puddle of oil no bigger than a penny and goes sliding face first 500 ft! As far as the unnecessary noise, it's just like the trash cranking their radios and rap music. It's ALL the talent they have so they have a need to show it off :)

Look - out you sound bitter for some reason. I ride and I feel that I am a very responsible rider. I look everywhere, and what I see is people talking on cell phones or eating or other distracting things. They usually are never aware of me. So therefore I have a loud motorcycle and you can hear me before you see me. No one is showing off, we are saving gas and enjoying the weather.

Like I said, you people drive like you feel you are someone more special than all other drivers which is nothing but a bunch of buffalo sh*t. You are no better than everyone else. I never said ALL motorcycles were reckless, just 60% of them. And I am quite sure you turn a blind eye(s) to them. Your noise is not heard until you are withing 5 feet. A little late if needed, don't you think? I certainly never said anywhere that people driving cars/trucks/SUV's were perfect. Those people are no more aware of you than all other drivers and there is no reason they should be more aware. You are just another vehicle on the road, correct? Or ARE you someone special that people need to look out for?

I special enough to know that I want to return home after my ride. Just like everyone who drives in a car. I know there are plenty of irresponsible riders and NO I do not condone that type of riding. But more often than not - when someone on a motorcycle is hit or killed the driver usually says I didn't see them. I don't think we are more special just a little more vunerable. I would just ask that people pay more attention. That means hang up the phone - put away the makeup etc...

Not morons....The PR name's are "Oblivions" or "self-righteous" drivers. I like Oblivions, since that covers the cell phone drivers that don't seem to discriminate what it is they hit.

This particular accident sounds like a real mess... too bad. I love my motorcycle, so please dont get me confused with the morons touting banning them on this thread but.... At the same time I gotta laugh and throw up the "BS" flag at this comment. *IF* your whole mentality of loud pipes is true and so many of these riders are so concerned with their safety that they get loud pipes specifically for that reason then why do you not also see them wearing bright colored reflective safety vests or jackets? Or is it that these "loud pipes save lives" people actually just think the things sound cool and are looking for a nice excuse to have them because of how annoying the things are when they ride through residential areas? Drive about 55mph on the highway or roll up your windows, turn on your AC and the radio and tell me if you can actually hear that "loud" motorcycle coming from a few cars away. You know, in enough time to actually react... You cant. By the time you HEAR it (in traffic while driving) its on the side of you making you spill your coffee when it startles you. Thats also why you see emergency vehicles running with "lights" in addition to sirens. Light travels far faster then sound and as a measure of safety, the reflective and brightly colored clothing by far and away are more effective. I mean,*IF* were talking about safety anyway. Just sayin'

That will not happen until laws get restricted again. Every ass I see reading the paper, putting on makeup, shaving ect. should be put up as "attempted murder" just like drunk drivers should be getting. Driving in St. Paul is heaven compared to Atlanta! Ok....maybe a LITTLE exageration there, but when I learned how to drive, it was in Minneapolis. People actually had respect for one another at a much greater degree. As far as "I didn't see him" in motorcyle/car accidents, that is no surprise. When a motorcycle is weaving in and out of traffic and go 30+ mph faster, you DON'T see them (you can see all of those drives now laughing and feeling like GOD!). People need to pay more attention to EVERYONE else on the road, not JUST motorcyclists. It is your choice to drive that more dangerous machine, and because it is YOUR choice, it is YOUR responsibility to drive with more caution.

I can't imagine where your pea brain came up with this 60% figure but I've got one of my own: 100% of rednecks are brain-damaged and have a little pee-pee complex. Now go ask your in-laws what that means. Stooge.

By the way, I moved here from Brooklyn Center a few years ago, so I run right along with you whether you like it or not. If I ever do have children, I will be moving WAY away from Georgia! 60% simply comes from common sense and experience on the road. Maybe you too "turn that blind eye" on motorcycles?

Kristin and I both worked in the same strip mall, she, about 3 doors down. She will be missed.
I do believe that no matter how careful we try to be in life, accidents do happen.

Kristin was an angel who walked this earth & she is very deeply missed by her dear family & friends like me every day. Accidents do happen, but this one is so tragic. Kristin was a passenger & drivers have a responsibility to keep their passengers safe. This is one we wish never would have happened!!

Accidents do happen, but this one was so tragic & brutal, that it leaves us all with A LOT OF QUESTIONS. A major role of responsibility always rests with any driver of any type of motor vehicle.
This is one accident we pray would Never have happened!!
