I go to Lindenwood. It's just shocking to think that this could actually happen at my school. You always hear of stories at other schools, but at my own school is crazy. I just want the family to know that they are in my prayers.

I really wish I had gotten the chance to know him. I'm sure he had a lot to offer the world and I am sending out my deepest and most sincere condolences to his friends and family. I have no doubt that he will be missed by many. God bless. To his friends and family: you will all be in my thoughts and prayers.

Are you kidding? That's what you chose to say on your one debut to be famous. Good job jackass. This "young man" was probably the nicest, funniest person you would have ever met. So stop passing judgments on someone who cannot defend themselves, its petty. My condolences and prayers go out to his family.

He was the sweetest most genuine young man I'd met in a long time. Volleyball player. Dating/dated my roomate. Apparently no one knew he was in such bad shape or would ever do this. My heart reaches out to his family and friends. May God bless his soul and forgive his mistake.

God bless his family and the family of LU. THis is a very tough thing to comprehend. I too attend LU and find myself taken back by the news. God bless everyone and I hope the family of this young man can stay strong.

And where do you read that he had a shotgun? I agree as the other author said; you're an insensitive jerk.

I go to LU and I didn't know him, but my heart goes out to the family and friends and everyone who has been affected by this.

It scares me to think that he just as easily could have turned that gun on any number of people.

I also have to say that this really hit home for me. I have suffered with depression for years, nearly killed myself once before, and have been having a rough time recently and the thought has been crossing my mind. It makes me feel so ashamed that I could have done this to my friends and my family. This is a real tragic situation, but I want to show all those in pain the silver lining. He just saved my life...

hey dumbass it was a handgun. You are saying that because you are anti gun and you know we have a shooting team, and the student was a vollyball player not a shooter.

Considering you know absoutely nothing about him, you should probably not say anything and he was a nice and funny guy who liked to hunt, THATS where he got a gun. Don't be so ignorant about someone you dont know!

By saying he had a shotgun, ram wasn't implying he wasn't a good friend; maybe he was just saying that maybe there should be stricter gun control and that it should not be this easy for kids to obtain firearms.

We will pray for the family of this young man. Such a sad tragedy and a senseless loss. It is hard to comprehend these things. It sounds as if he was well liked. God bless the other students as they deal with this situation and God bless his family.
