Travel agencies

Is anyone familiar with Never Grow Up Travel in St. Charles, MO? I am looking for a good travel agent for an upcoming trip.

I am a Disney fanatic and would like to find a travel agency that specializes in Disney. A friend of mine said she had heard that there was a woman at the Working Woman's Survival Show that had a big Disney display. Does anyone know what agency she is with? I usually book on my own but travel agents always know the inside info on the best deals.

I think you are referring to Erin Delligatti. I would avoid her if I were you. My friend used her previously and had rave reviews but she won't email or call me back. I've tried to get in touch with her for weeks and nothing. Then found another friend had used her recently and couldn't get any info after she paid for it. We found someone else to use.

Wow! That is awful! I was under the impression she was excellent to book with. I was told her display at the show was one of the biggest and best she has ever seen for a travel agency before and her knowledge of Disney was spot on! What a disappointment. Maybe this was one of those exceptions to the general way she generally does business. I appreciate the response back.

I sent a contact form thru the website the other evening and have still not received a reply. Really strange way to do business!

I agree! Laura is a great agent. I happen to know because she is an independent agent for me! She is incredible and I highly recommend her!!

I can vouche for Laura also! We attended classes at the College of Knowledge onsite at Disney together! She's great! ;)

I would be concerned about working with an agent that would call the police over someone saying they heard that agent was fired from a previous company. I mean, really? A simple denial instead of two ranting posts would have been sufficient.

Melissa, you took that out of context. Seriously, Erin told me you were fired. Thats funny that she told another lie. I said it was funny because it was more like who's surprised to find another lie from her. I can see how that might have pissed you off. I tried to respond to your message on FB but you have blocked me and I can't. Please chill out.

@HmmmI actually think I would call the police and report something that would ruin MY reputation if I felt like someone went against me. I think it was the right thing to do especially if your livelihood depends on having a good name.
 
@UneverKnow I think the civil thing to do here would have been to address that stuff personally before coming on here and just blurting out a rumor
 
I feel like the responses were full on honesty more than I needed to know, but not irrelevant to a persons character.

Also I think the fact that she told us about this and I am here to support her means alot. I don't know how I would feel if I were UneverKnow a.k.a shoppingmom's clients right now to come here and see she would do something like this.

Just so you know Crystal what you are doing is called harassment. Especially if someone asked you to not contact them.

Maybe if you put as much effort in yourself as you do in participating in the demise of someone else you'd probably be making love to your husband rather than making hate on the internet.

I suggest you google any travel agent you decide to use to make sure they don't have a criminal background. Better safe than sorry!

To see this post was started just so some people wanted to slander ones name is quite something. Don't use a travel agent and now I confirmed why I don't. It’s sad really because some I know probably work really hard for what little they get paid but when you have ones who would post this "bait trap" is just uncalled for. I will be making sure the DISBoards is to stay away from Crystal - wow - Get your crap together- slam someone and then send them a message just mins later explaining the whole reason for the post? REALLY? I would suggest that the whole post be deleted because the bad rep of using home based travel agents show with whoever started this post for slander reasons.
Some look like they innocently thought they were helping a person book travel to Disney - I am sorry to know they were "baited" for their the “main poster” personal slander reasons.(which one may think is Crystal aka.. shoppingmom,cookies,uneverknow and how many more?)
At the end of the day Google Disney Travel Specialist and you will come up with a WHOLE list. GO with the ones who are Authorized, Have licenses and bonded and most important class!

P.S. And how about you PAY for your subscriptions to Tour Guide Mike rather than going in and changing your trip dates? I think they will know when they find out you’ve been to Disney an x amount of times and have only paid two or three times over the course of years…hummm seems like someone is quite a little criminal already she just hasn’t gotten caught….yet!

Are you talking about the Uniform Trade Secrets Act?
The one that says:

or just general liability because these can be two different charges, but can be combined as well, meaning lots of time in the clink, but don't worry ladies they usually put those that commit white collar crimes in the nicer prisons.

Thank you for the info! I will keep this handy for when I need a reputable agent! From what I have been reading Never Grow Up Travel has a scam artist for an owner and fled her agency with other people's money!!!

I would also avoid Custom Travel Professionals, LLC they allegedly stole clients from Never Grow Up Travel while the owner was in the hospital grieving for her mother who died not to long after.

I guess it's stealing according to the Uniform Trade Secrets Act because a person that is unsure if she was a partner or the co-owner took possession of a client list by improper means and or misappropriation. So I think that if you did go with them they might also be on the run since they have been on here proving they are scam artists.

They also took clients that belonged to other agents I hear, that's like a banker checking out of work and going in to rob a bank, they should know how hard it is to get those reservations, they know they didn't make them yet they didn't bother taking them. Though I will say the agency has ownership of the clients, but then again the person that allegedly stole or hijacked these booking was not in fact a true owner or partner so not only do they have the problems I already stated they are also looking at liability for overstepping their boundaries and getting the pants sued off them by the agents also as a result. People have called to find that Custom Travel Professionals now own their bookings and now clients are stuck.

They have a business plan though to be ethical and put the clients first even if the clients are confused about who they are. They plan to stay small so they can keep a low profile as they screw the most amount of people while pointing to an owner that was sick had her business stolen from her. They are cruel and calculating,creating usernames and harassing people, rippin off cute little Tour Guide Mike, making up their own laws, using the hijacked companies success to leverage themselves. With their blatant disregard for the law though, I'm sure they won't be around for too long. And I have to add not very Disney like unless you think of Ursela and her two electric eels!

And just so you know I will continue to get all this crap you are saying about Erin deleted. We ALL are and I'm going to keep trying to get ranting on topix so they flag and delete this stuff too. I think once I got brought into this I was pissed and it didn't take me long to figure out what was going on.Do your OWN research you'll come up with an ear full of information and not some BS from Ursela and her eels. There are a good bit of us that have already come to the obvious conclusion. Maybe the plans sounded good when you made them ladies, but I am sure you didn't expect to meet a woman who's had someone try to ruin her reputation, a customer that's pissed, agents that found out the truth, and some legal professionals, and friends that will be waiting here seeing justice be delivered to the people who are responsible for this.

I pray Erin gets better and I hope she knows when she's ready to fight. Even if I didn't leave her company on good terms, I'm going to stand behind her and I'm going to help her get back what was hers. We've all seen what you have done to me and now so many of us have asked you what happened and we compared notes on your answers when you provided them and they lead to two people who have lied publicly and tried to take it back. We called everywhere and we're certain we figured out a timeline. I know you’re not contacting authorities nor getting legal advice because what you are doing is illegal and it might take time but you will be prosecuted. Understand that. You can’t go back and undo this.
