I am voting Republican because I believe in nationalization of businesses run to the ground by greedy SOBs.

Ah, they say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery... Lovely!

Obama's still going to win - McCain's made too many poor choices to stay afloat. Bye, bye, Johnny!

Of course Obama is leading...just like Walter Mondale was leading in many states on the news days before the election.

Of course, we know MN was the only state stupid enough to vote for him.

MN, out of step with the rest of the country AGAIN.

You can print what you like, the truth will show itself at the proper time.

No as in MN has the longest streak of voting democrat for presidential elections in the history of the US. The last time a Repub won was Nixon in 1972.

AP presidential poll: All even in the homestretch
By LIZ SIDOTI – 51 minutes ago

WASHINGTON (AP)— The presidential race tightened after the final debate, with John McCain gaining among whites and people earning less than $50,000, according to an Associated Press-GfK poll that shows McCain and Barack Obama essentially running even among likely voters in the election homestretch.

The poll, which found Obama at 44 percent and McCain at 43 percent, supports what some Republicans and Democrats privately have said in recent days: that the race narrowed after the third debate as GOP-leaning voters drifted home to their party and McCain's "Joe the plumber" analogy struck a chord.

Three weeks ago, an AP-GfK survey found that Obama had surged to a seven-point lead over McCain, lifted by voters who thought the Democrat was better suited to lead the nation through its sudden economic crisis.

The contest is still volatile, and the split among voters is apparent less than two weeks before Election Day

Wow, what a shock, Obambi is leading in Minnesota, one of the most liberal states in the Union, and this is a story how? This isn't news, what would be news is on November 5th when it says "Minnesota goes red, McCain wins."

Interesting. Hmmm. So you want things to stay the same; i.e. financial sector crisis, people losing their homes, instability in the economy, soldiers retiring in Iraq and Afghanistan, zero health care for everybody but rock and sports stars, rising feul prices, etc, etc.

Well, that there sounds like a bad deal if you'd ask me.

NV: ACORN Submitted ‘Thousands and Thousands of Phony’ Voter Registrations, County Registrar Says

http://www.cnsnews.com/public/content/article...

(CNSNews.com )– The Association for Community Reform Now (ACORN) submitted nearly 90,000 voter registration applications to the registrar’s office in Clark County, Nev., this year, among which were “thousands and thousands and thousands of phony and duplicate applications” that ACORN did not mark as suspicious, Larry Lomax, Clark Country registrar of voters, told CNSNews.com .
Matthew Henderson, ACORN’s regional director for Southwest Nevada, however, said that a few duplicate and falsified forms may have slipped through ACORN’s vetting. But the group turned in between 3,000 and 4,000 tagged registration forms, Henderson said, and there is little evidence to support Lomax’s allegations that they missed “thousands.”
On Oct. 7, an ACORN office in Las Vegas, Nev., was raided by local police after Colin Haynes, a criminal investigator for the Nevada Secretary of State Securities Division, submitted an affidavit to a judge requesting a search warrant.
He alleged in the affidavit “that employees of ACORN, while employed to solicit members of the public to complete Voter Registration Applications, have themselves completed forms using fictitious and false information.”
As the affidavit reads:“The investigation started on July 2, 2008 when Larry Lomax, Clark County Registrar of Voters, reported to the division that his office had received a significant number of suspicious Voter Registration Application Forms from ACORN.”

more at cnsnews.com ...

A valid Picture Id DL/Passport, Etc. will kill ALL ACORN fraud.
They can register everybody in the world ,but if you got have ID to vote....(which is why Keith X Ellison and many other similar oppose all ID attempts in MN)

Things will stay the same with a democratic control of the house and senate.....oh yeah, they actually approve budgets, military expenditures. High prices might have to do with laws of supply and damand. China certainly isn't buying gas are they?

What am I thinking, these are all GW's fault.

Pull the other one!

I'm only going to nitpick the "Soldiers retiring in Iraq and Afghanistan" remark. I don't know where you get your information, but that just isn't possible. Soldiers can not ETS, PCS or retire while in theater. There's this thing called Stop Loss. Even if they want to they can't. They can't even file the paperwork until after they return home, and the Stop Loss is lifted. Which isn't immediately either.

You are aware that the Democrats had their hands in the financial fiasco as well, right?

Your lies aside, who ever said things should stay the same? I just think if someone works their ass off for 40 years, and is making a 6 figure income, in my book that's success. In BO's book I should be penalized and fined.
If I work my ass off to build a business over 20 years, build my income to 6 figures, then have to pay even MORE taxes than I already do, I'm either laying off workers to cut over head, or I increase my prices. So either unemployment goes up, or inflation occurs. Which one of those do you think is best for the economy?
