Wow! Everybody, even the perp, admires the hero, Laliberte.

Kudos to Mark Laliberte for sticking his neck out and courageously caught the thief.

He obviously has the kind of character that many people look for in a candidate.

Are you frickin kidding me? A citizen, puts his own safety at risk by apprehending a criminal. A very admirable deed. Undoubtedly the case is going to depend on Mr. Lalibertes testimony.
It's bad enough, your average law biding citizen is brainwashed by the repeated warnings from police, to not resist, just roll over and play possum,think happy thoughts and it will all be over soon enough. But how is Mr Lalibertes' good deed rewarded? Within 24 hrs the more then likely, career criminal is out of jail,he knows that Mr. Lalibertes testimony can ,very likely put him in prison, he knows his name, his place of business and his work schedule. Anybody want to put odds on what happens next?

Doggone Conservative! Actually taking some action on his own, rather than waiting for government to do the job. Has he no compassion for a thief?

At least Mindy Greiling would have offered a nice group hug to the thief and told him what a victim he is.
