I thought it was funny on the 12 o'clock news when they broke this story they were talking about the accident in Naples but they were showing a map in Pavilion at Rt 20 and Perry Rd, which there was a serious accident 2 or 3 days ago.

I must say, Channel 10 has more screw ups than any other channel in Rochester. It's sad Channel 10 use to be the best.

Big D- lol. It’s kind of 6 in one ˝ dozen in the other with Rochester stations when it comes to thorough and accurate news reporting.

Prayers to the family of the driver.

"Girl dies in car–school bus crash"

Enough is enough. Why is 10 using a heading like this? To sensationalize the story. I'm VERY sick of this. The "girl" was the 19 year old young WOMAN. I'm VERY sorry for her loss.

But I'm about done with this station online. Interestingly, I like 10 on TV more than 13. And Rachel Barnhardt on News 13 online makes me cringe.

Everyone wants to sensationalize and slant the stories around here.

Extra points to the station that dares to just be honest and objective.

Or doesn't anyone teach that anymore?

I second the last post, God Bless her soul, R.I.P.! That poor young woman left behind MANY loved ones and for you to have the audacity to accuse her of being on her phone is beyond words. Were you there? Did you know her? Just because she is young, please don't be as ignorant to ASSUME things. She was a wonderful person who was loved deeply. Her family and friends are living a nightmare right now, have some empathy, compassion, and class!
God Bless you Courtney. May you be resting peacefully with God!

Wake up people, there is nothing funny about fatal accidents involving our youth. The GIRL was only 19, she was someone's child!! With all the technology we have today, why can't we as a society teach our youth how to drive safetly? Fatal Accidents is the #1 Killer for teenagers. Maybe there is just something in the County air or water? Last night, a woman jumps out of a car moving at a high speed; this morning a young girl crosses the line for unknown reasons.
May God Bless all families involved at such tragic times!!

Except that's not her.
Don't run your mouth, or in this case fingers, if you don't know what you're talking about.

Yup sure was Sue, LOL Channel 10 must really be having some internal issues right now.
Another big problem is the new Sports Director. You can tell her knows nothing about sports and is reading everything right of the camera. I really like female sportscasters but this one has to go!

"Big D" has made two comments complaining about the mistakes of channel 10, while in both comments making mistakes of his own.

Are you kidding me?

"you can tell her knows nothing about sports"

I can tell you know nothing about the English language.

I saw loads of deer everywhere from Bristol coming down from the mts. yesterday early A.M. That area has a lot of wild animals. Could have been a deer crossed or was trying to cross and she swerved to avoid it without looking ahead. Besides, yes, terrible accident for all, but if she was from the area, SHE SHOULD HAVE KNOWN TO GO SLOW on that road. It is not a road you want to speed on even if speed limit is set at 55 (means it's a state road! Doesn't mean you should always go that fast). Of course, yes, she could have also been using cell for something too. Some areas are open for cell use on parts of the road. And family, friends, she may have been thought of as wonderful, an angel, perfect in your eyes. We still all have different opinions whether right or wrong and not everyone sees your angel as perfect. Please respect others opinions. God, Jesus (if you believe) was perfect. Your child/friend was not.

I hope that the people who have written negative posts never have to go throught the heartbreak that the death of a teenager brings. I lost my 17 year old sister in a car accident. Yes, it probably was her inexperience as driver that contributed to her demise, but that does not lesson the pain. Or the loss. Who knows what great things may have been in store for the teens that we lose to tragic car accidents. Please try to respect the family and friends. Perhaps we need to address the driving regulations, or at least make driver education in highschool mandatory. With an emphasis on responsible driving.

How about admitting responsibility and stop pedistalling these KIDS all the time. No one takes the blame, whether for not proper parenting/teaching/or the fact it was their 'friend/family' that screwed up!

Daily Horoscope for December 15

Virgo

You're in a very sensitive frame of mind today and are acutely aware of what other people are going through. So if someone is having a bad time, you'll want to do what you can to help. However, it's important to accept that you may not be able to do a single thing. If you persist in trying to help, it will be because you're uncomfortable with the situation and want to feel better.
