Wow........now why would you create a poll and completely out "Met with foul play"? or at least put "other"?

How about "none of the above"?

Because that isn't what I think happened to her. Why do you think she met with foul play??

Seems like "met with foul play " should be a choice here...besides, the poll isn't all about what you think...it's about what the posters on this site think too, so the choices should be more broad.

I hope that not everyone in the world thinks she is dead....
I am keeping my hopes up and praying she is still alive,if you want to put your money on her being dead.... Call her family, They all gave up a long time ago!

Maybe because she hasn't been heard from by anyone on earth in over four years, she had no car, no money, she took nothing with her that would suggest that she was going anywhere...not ever her most precious posessions or her personal items, she had no phone, no credit cards and the only money that she had access to was her income tax, which came that day, and she vanished without it.......because all the phones and computers that she had access to were looked at and there was no evidence that she called and asked anyone for a ride or had developed any relationship with anyone who would come and get her or sustain her with no assets of her own. And the fact that I know my child, not just me but all her family and friends know her, well enough to know that she had no interest in leaving her friends, family or community where she had lived all her life and had not demonstrated the ability to care for herself and her child without the help of friends and family. That's pretty much it, in a nut shell, without going into things that I am not allowed to due to her case still being an open investigation. If your a parent, I'm sure this is enough to let you know why I feel that way.........I hope and pray everyday that I am wrong, but so far, it just doesn't seem that I am.

Well said, that is what I was trying to say.......the other poll that was started some time ago seemed to cover all the bases, a little better at least.

And you are full of it if you think that I have given up on anything! Since you don't know me then I guess that you have no way of knowing that........read my last post for clarification....

I am a mother and I knew Jenn for awhile through a friend. I dont think she is dead. I think she is alive and well, what about her going into a safe house, sounds like that shoe would fit nicely.

I think you are full of it, to satisfy yourself with telling the world you believe her to be dead! You should never give up hope that she is alive unless you were told she was without a doubt dead. I would have to see the face of my daughter before I could entertain the idea she had passed away. You see other mothers on TV, would won't except their children to be dead unless they visually see them. unless you have come to terms with that and I am sorry I would have to have it on pretty good athority that she wasn't alive before I could say that to the world.I am a mother, and I have been in your situation. Not believeing until seeing.

That angle has been looked into.....it didn't happen.......again, I wish. If you know Jenn real well then you know what I posted in the above post is true. I just hope that you are right but her friends do not feel the same way that you do because they know Jenn better.

You are full of it if you think that satisfies me......I have had to face the cold hard truth and that is that it is unlikely that my daughter is alive and well....I'm not saying and never have that it is not a possibility, just a very unlikely one, that she is alive........if you read my post above and you are truly an unbiased person, then as a Mom, you would be able to see why I have had to deal with the possibility and why that has become my reality. Any unbiased person would see that it just doesn't look good.

Looking good was never something I said, I said I hoped for the best and I wasn't giveing up on the fact she might be alive. How dare you question my friendship and compassion for her because I believe her to be alive. What makes you think I didn't start this poll as a way to see how many people were with me in hope and prayer. In some way seeing that there is still hope around her I thought it could bring me peace and the feeling that I wasn't alone. Sorry I would rather thinks she wanted a new live and has started over somewhere than to think of her buried in a ditch somewhere
My apologizes but I will not accept the fact she is dead until it is proven. She was my friend, I don't know you. But I will not give up my hope and prayers for her and her beautiful daughter. Those precious eyes, so big and bright.. I cant think of them to be lost forever.

You can question anything you like, face what you feel you have to face.. But I.. I have hope

This is unbelievable!!! The only reason that the poll stands where it does is because the more logical explanations aren't listed. This whole case smells terribly of a cover up. I would take the liberty of posting a legitimate poll but I wouldn't want to cause the girls' family more pain. Besides, they do not need that, they can come to their own conclusions as I'm sure they and other here have.

Steve......thank you for being a voice of reason in all of this......there is another poll on topix about the girls that list the other more obvious possibilities. I know that you are not Peggy, what a joke......Peggy and I have been away from the computer all day and come home to find all the crazy bashing and name calling going on again.....By the way.........I think that you have given some great advice and if you are an attorney, please contact me and lets talk!

What happened to the original poll posted a few months ago that showed the majority of votes saying "someone in the boyfriends family harmed her"?
I guess if you don't like the results you just create another one and leave off the most likely option.

What I know. My son came to me in the summer of 2003 and ask could a woman and small child stay in our barn for a little while because she had no where to go. I agreed and Jennifer Wix moved in, knowning their was no water or phone, just a barn. About the middle of December Jennifer ask my son to take her to her mothers house. That evening they came to me, Jennifer was crying, cut, brused and bleeding, she said her mother and sisters had beaten her and taken her child. She said Joey kicked the door in and freed her but could not get the child and she wanted me to go and get her child. I called the police and sent my wife and Jennifer to meet the police and get her child. The next day I took Jennifer to the police station to file a report. It is on record in Cross Plains. Jennifer 's family had Joey arrested for kicking in the door. Jennifer paid to get Joey out of jail, she kept saying "now do you see why I can't go home." Jennifer's mother has hated Joey since, and even more when the jury found him not guilty and said someone needs to save her. Jennifer never went back home nor did she allow her mother and sisters to come to our house. Her fathers parents visited and helped her often as did her aunt. I don't know much about Jennifer's past. When she moved in the barn, she said that her father lived far off and her mother lived in Las Vegas. She said she had no car or phone and did stay in touch with them. In Jan. 2004 we ask them to move into our house. She did, and lived with my son. I know Jennifer was bipolar and took a lot of meds. I never saw her take any drugs and she did not drink around me. She seemed happy but wanted to move back into the barn we told her she could not. She told us she had a plan, she never said what is was. It was reported that her last call to her family was to her mother, Wed. night, however the phone records show she talked to her aunt on Thursday and her father over one hour Thursday afternoon. That night she said she was leaving, and did. On Saturday the police came out to our house. On Sunday they searched our house. On Tuesday they asked to run cadaver dogs on our land, because the family thought they were dead. They searched all of my land, and approx. 15 acres of my father and brothers land. By Thursday the TBI had our computer and all of our phone records and we had all agreed to take polygragh test. After that their have been other tests and many more searches including dogs and as many as 120 officers at a time, CSI, draining a pond, TBI, THP and yes they did xray my house. As far as I know they found 2 of adrannia's dolls, that a man placed there 2 months after they left.( they arrested the man, I don't know what happened). The seaches were never limited except that only officers could come on our land, no family or reporters. Their has never been a partial search. All seaches stated "all properties and building owned by." These were signed by myself ,my father ,my sister.my brother. I belive the poster "mimi" from hendersonville is Jennifers grandmother on her mother side, she ran for sheriff but was disquilified, the woman on the news saying "I'll get you any way I can". This lady has never in her life been on any Benton property and as she states does not have access to any files, however she will go ahead and answer your questions. Fact, when Jennifer left she was grown and no one had to tell her family or the police anything. We have helped her family all we can and now it is time to wait for Jennifer to come home.
